“Hi"
“Hi. You came."
“Yes." Abe replied
“I wasn't expecting you to. You're not religious, are you?"
“Of course I was going to come, and no I'm not religious." Abe replied
There was an awkward silence, with them staring at each other's faces.
Abe stared at her outfit and her figure. She was putting on a pink-black gown that hugged her figure, with a white lacy sandal.
She had her hair down, free with the wind.
She didn't tie it with a scarf like she did that day at the supermarket.
“You looked good in the choir gown, but you look even better now.” Abe complemented, finally breaking the awkward silence.
" Thank you.” She smiled
" I will forever keep this image of you in my mind.” Abe said
" Shall I walk you home?”
" No you can't.” She reject with smile
" Why not?” Abe asked confused
" Not yet.” She replied
" Why? But I'm supposed to walk you home.” Abe protested
" And why is that?” she asked with her head tilted
" Well it's how it is, men walk the lady's home.” Abe scratched him head
Angel didn't reply, she just smiled and looked at him.
" Well, I'll still get your number right?” Abe asked
“We'll see."
“Let me walk you to the bus station then." She said
Abe was really surprised at the development of the conversation, she was different in every way.
He was already thinking about hailing a cab, but her suggestion of walking him to the bus station might help him in the long run.
Who knows, maybe she'll warm up to him.
“So Abe, do you mind telling me more about yourself?" Angel said as they began their walk.
“Well, there's not much to tell. Do you have any specific things?” Abe replied
" Do I have to be specific?” she asked
" Yes. Or how about we do it like this, you pick a specific thing you want to know. Then when I answer you, I'll also ask for a specific thing about you. It's going to be like a game.” Abe suggested
" Sounds okay, but I get to go first."
“Okay, you can begin."
“ What do you do Abe?”
" Well for now, I work at a construction site doing this and that, but I hope to get a new job soon. Hopefully”

“What about you? What do you do Angel?"
“Well I draw, I make anime 3D drawings and I also design houses and workplaces.”
" Woah, that's so cool. Compared to yours,my job is lame.” Abe praised
" No it's not, any work that puts food on your table is not lame.”
" Then can I use the word boring then? It's just mostly heavy lifting and errands.” Abe replied
She stared at him intently and said. “ At least you have the muscles to show for it.”
“Do you like them?" Abe flexed, making her chuckle.
“ So to sum it up for you, I was raised by my sister. I love jogging, I hate anything spicy and I don't have a favorite color.” Abe said
" You were raised by your sister? What happened to your parents?”
" My mum died when I was ten and my dad..let's just say he's different.” Abe replied
" You don't want to talk about it?” She asked
" No.”
" Okay, my turn then. Raised by mum, I love music. I would never watch a horror movie and unlike you, I have a favorite color which is pink.” She said
" Would never watch a horror movie uhn?" Abe said
“ Yes, I would never intentionally scare myself." She said a frown
Abe stared blankly at her face, even when she frowns, she is beautiful.
“How can you be so beautiful?" Abe's mouth moved itself.
“Because I came for you." Angel replied, smiling
“What?"
“It's a song. I asked " How can you look so beautiful, " then she replied "Because I came for you.”
" You've never heard of it?”
Abe shook his head, he wasn't really a fan of music.
" The other day at the supermarket, you asked me if I just wanted to be a friend and I said no, I meant it.” Abe said
" I know, that was why I invited you here and gave you my attention.” Angel replied
They arrived at the bus station at the exact time the bus arrived.
“You won't give me your number today, will you?” Abe asked
" No I won't.” She replied
" But I won't see you again.” Abe almost cried
" Meet me here on the day we met.”
" Next week Saturday?” Abe asked
" You should get on the bus.” Angel reminded
Abe stared at her for a while before turning around to enter the bus.
She was playing hard to get.
If she was hoping to play him till he gets tired and bored, then she was wrong, because now Abe was more curious about her.
He watched her wave at him as the bus started, he waved back at her with a smile.
Abe was excited about nothing in particular, that's the kind of effect she has on him.
He paid the driver in cash, he has yet to set up the QR-scanner on his new phone.
He turned around to take a seat but stopped in his tracks when he saw who he saw the person he was going to take a seat with.
