Chapter 108

Yvonne's eyes widened. Logan and Alexis were both shocked. 

"What did you say?" Logan asked. 

"You didn't hear?" Javier said, then he turned his face toward Yvonne, whose mouth was opened slightly. 

Drawing Yvonne closer to his side with an arm around her waist, Javier gently lifted her chin to meet his gaze. "You didn't tell him?" His words were soft, but his touch sent a shiver down Yvonne's spine. 

Confusion clouded Yvonne's thoughts as she struggled to make sense of Javier's sudden claim. Was he alright? What's going on? 

"Yvonne, is what he is saying true?" Logan's voice interrupted her thoughts, pulling her back to the present. 

Finally regaining her composure. Yvonne gently removed Javier's hand from her chin and turned to face them. 

"What he said is true," she said reluctantly. 

She could maybe use him to get Logan's off her back.
