She never expected to see him here. She was even thinking about what to say to him once they met. 

"You are better now?" Yvonne said, breaking the brief silence. 

Javier looked at them, and he smiled. "Yes," he replied. "What are you guys doing here?" 

"Hi," Alisa greeted him with a friendly smile. 

Before Yvonne could respond, Alisa jumped in, "We are here to see my mom's family." 

"Your family?" Javier asked. 

Just then, the receptionist brought the funeral flower for Yvonne. 

"Here is your flower," the receptionist said. 

"Thank you," Yvonne accepted the flower and paid for it with a grateful smile.

"Ah, so you are here to visit your family's grave," the receptionist remarked. 

"Yep," Yvonne confirmed. "What about you? Why are you here?" 

"I came to see someone's grave," Javier replied vaguely. 

"Your family?' Yvonne asked. 

"You could say so."
