Secrets of Cromwell City (2)

The nightmare became a recurring occurrence whenever Chris went to sleep. It didn't matter day or night, he would always wake up due to the nightmare.

Every time he went to sleep he would wake up in that creepy place where the only light was from that ball. Every time he sees it, Chris becomes sure that this dream has to do with the Earth's awakening.

Each time, he was able to approach further than before but before he could reach the ball, the shadow creature or whatever it was would always stop him. Chris wanted to reach it so that he could fully understand why he was having these dreams.

Until then he can only speculate that the dreams are about Earth and its impending doom that follows.

Even if those speculations were true, there remains a question that needs an answer, "Why now?"
