As she enters the hospital at 6 p.m., Marilena spots Carla in the hallway, making her rounds on the night shift. She offers Carla a warm smile and a brief hug, grateful for the familiar face amidst the chaos of the hospital corridors.

"Hey, Marilena," Carla greets her, returning the smile. "Heading to see Vanessa again?"

Marilena nods, her expression somber. "Yeah, I just want to be there for her," she says quietly. "It's been tough on her, especially with everything going on."
