Admission test hall, Nexus Academy,

Adrian slowly channeled his mana into the crystal ball.

About 2 minutes passed and nothing appeared inside the crystal sphere, observing this, vice-headmaster Ulsen turned towards the headmaster, asking as he whispered:

"Does he have no affinity? Why is no light appearing?"

"I don't know," The headmaster shook his head as he answered: "however, I am sure that he has affinity with atleast one element, otherwise how could he reach 4th rank?

"Marquis Lamblins even guaranteed that he is a genius, there is no way he would lie about such a thing."

Vice-Headmaster Ulsen nodded in understanding, finding the answer reasonable as he decided to wait some more.

And he didn't have to wait for long as a bright pale yellowish light appeared inside the sphere.
