"W-why do you n-need me for th-this?" Kempia asked, nervous at the fact she was scanning a literal corpse.

Akemi patted Kemia's head, "You're the most skilled investigation Division SpiritCatcher we could find." she explained.

That information made Kempia blush a bit, "I-I'm n-not th-that g-good..." She stuttered out, "H-Honestly I-I s-suck at th-this..." She said, clearly criticizing herself.

"What?" Paimon said in confusion, "Don't just let that negativity slap you in the face!" She scolded, "You have one of the highest investigation counts!" She informed.

Sibley sat near Kempia, looking at the corpse, "What are we supposed to be looking for here exactly?" She asked Scaramouche, "If this is a copy, almost everything can relate to the real one." She rationalized.

"I'd say we start with people that have the same appearence." Said ex fatui replied, "Can you also make a scan on distant targets?" He asked Kempia who nodded in response, "In that case you should be able to tell if they're copies or the real one without having to get close right?" He asked further.

This suggestion gave Nahida an idea, "Let's look for where there are a lot of them, the doctor should have assistants, and give his situation, those would be his copies." She explained the plan.

Having no other leads, Kempia decided to try that, isolating one specific area where there are a ton of people that look like the doctor, "H-h-here i-i-it i-i-is!" She exclaimed while stuttering, giving the area a scan to see if the real one was there.

"We better start heading there." Nahida suggested, "Real or not I don't want that many Doctors roaming around in Sumeru." She explained.

When they got there.

"There's a lot more than I thought." Aether commented, looking inside the building through Kempia's scan lens.

"It's t-t-taking a b-bit, y-you g-guys g-go a-ahead and s-slaughter." Said SpiritCatcher told the others.

At that, Aether and Scaramouche nodded, "I think I saw at least forty in there, twenty you, twenty me?" Aether asked, manifesting his wings.

Scaramouche scoffed at the suggestion, "I'll just kill how many I want." He responded, ready to get inside too.

When they opened went in and closed the door behind themselves, hell started breaking loose, especially from the noises, "...While they do that." Sibley started, turning to Kempia and asking "As an older member of M.L.E., do you think losing your humanity should be a... Goal?"

Paimon, Nahida and Akemi looked quite taken aback by the question, while Kempia just seemed numb to it mostly, "I d-don't r-really k-know, it j-just s-sort of h-happened to m-me o-over t-time, the m-more i d-died the m-more e-everything a-around me f-felt... u-useless." She explained, not really getting the question.

"So everything will just lose it's meaning after a while... Good to know..." Sibley said, looking at Kempia's Freedom Matrix and seeing that the scan was complete.

"And the Dottore isn't in there, great." Nahida said sarcastically, having read Sibley's mind, "Where were the other signals?" She asked hoping they would be close.

As Kempia scanned, she was interrupted by being back handed into a wall, "There's no need to find me, I was already coming to find you." The doctor, the actual real one, said mockingly.

"You got to be kidding me!" Sibley exclaimed, "You mean that-" She was saying before the door of the building burst open, Aether and Scaramouche frozen with Cryo, "It IS a trap!" She exclaimed, making the others realize that too.

Paimon floated backwards when the doctor turned his gaze to her, "You know I was originally planning to take the one girl, butnw I guess I'll be taking three!" He exclaimed, now turning to the unconscious Kempia.

Or at least she should have been unconscious, but she's standing right there, with her eyes being red now instead of cyan, "Yeah... I guess I should have seen this coming." She commented, realizing she was a bit dumb.

"So you're still awake?" The doctor said, "No matter, as if you could possibly pose a challenge to me." He boasted, feeling that he could not be beaten at this moment.

Right when he said that, Kempia pulled out the dial of her Freedom Matrix and jabbed it into her chest, "Oh yeah! Overload!" Sibley exclaimed, Akemi smiling at the cards easily turning to them, while Nahida and Paimon were confused.

Before anything else could happen, Kempia turned the dial three times, "Overload: Giant Mode, Activate!" Her Freedom Matrix said, before thousands of spirits started going inside Kempia's body making her grow bigger and bigger, until she was easily twice the height the Jade Chamber was floating at.

"...Is this the Overload thingy you were talking about?" Paimon asked confused, "Nope... This one is different." Sibley replied right as Kempia raised her foot and stomped on Dottore so hard the ground around caved in.

The tremors caused the ice covering Aether and Scaramouche to break off, allowing them to move again, and when they did, they immediately turned to Dottore's copies and started going ham on them, dispatching of them almost immediately.

In Fontaine.

"That's a SpiritCatcher." Childe said, seeing the gigantified Kempia, "And they're the weakest of M.L.E.?" He asked his collegue.

Arlecchino just sighed, "I can only imagine how happy the Tsaritsa is at this." She commented, knowing that her God could be quite childish at times.

Back in Sumeru.

"Damnit! I wanted to kill him!" Sibley lamented, seeing the blood pouring out from under Kempia's foot.

When she made sure that the doctor was certainly dead, Kempia pulled the dial out of her chest and shrunk back to normal size as she put it back in place, "Don't cry too hard about it!" She told Sibley, not wanting to deal with that.

"Okay what's with the 180 in personality?" Paimon asked, causing Kempia to look confused, "...Forget I said anything." She quickly backtracked.

"...Right I'm bipolar!" Kempia remembered, "Being a corpse does that to you." She explained, confusing Sibley.

She looked at Kempia in the eyes, "Being a corpse...?" Sibley repeated questioningly, "Members of M.L.E. Are corpses?" She asked, her face growing slightly aggravated.

This question made Kempia realize that Sibley didn't know about that part, "Uhh... Bye." She said with a piece sign, opening a portal underneath herself to quickly get away.
