White Funeral Banners

The ants were back in full force with that offer. As I reached over to rub my arms to get rid of the feeling, I could see white funeral banners hanging from the tree in front of us.

What the hell? Where did those come from?

I blinked rapidly, looking directly at the tree, but there was nothing. Only a gentle gust of wind blew through the branches, making the leaves dance.

However, when I looked at the same thing from the corner of my eye, I could see the funeral banners.

Ah, fuck my life.

I tugged Bin An Sha's sleeve since he was closest to me and pulled him down until I could whisper in his ear. "Whoever they want to be healed, it needs to happen soon. There is going to be a death in this house if we keep beating around the bush."

Straightening up, Bin An Sha looked down at me, his eyebrow raised as if to ask me how that was his problem.

"It's not," I grunted, not caring who heard. "It's an ant issue."
