"What? You have Ruth?"

William Cole was startled and worried about Ruth Dawn's safety as well as Granny Snake's trickery, "How did you get Ruth?"

Granny Snake shook her head with a smirk, "William Cole, I know you care a lot about this woman, and we've long had good tabs on you."

"This woman is essential to you."

"Look at the pictures for yourself!"

Granny Snake sent him a series of snapshots.

In the photographs, Ruth Dawn was tied up and lying on a couch.

William Cole noted the clothes Ruth was dressed in were the same ones she wore when she left the hospital, that reassured him she was truly in Granny Snake's hands.

The photographs were genuine!

This time, William Cole did not lose his cool as he usually would whenever something bad happened to Ruth. Instead, he asked calmly, "What do you want?"

Granny Snake chuckled, "William Cole, I initially intended to kill you, but something altered the plan, and now you live."
