David casually walked to the terrace and then went back inside the mansion since there was nothing for him to do outside.

From afar, he could not listen to their conversation, only able to judge from Evelyn's expression which seemed angry while Enzo looked disappointed.

After that, Evelyn walked away with her gaze fixed ahead. She was not looking at anyone, and probably did not notice David's presence at the entrance.
