This is just great. We finally managed to meet with Su Hui and Gu Ling and now we're being split up again. Gu Fan looked at the dark forest and couldn't help but sigh. "If all else fails, I guess we'll have to impose on you, Qian Ye. Don't worry, though, we won't require the sacrifice without offering you something worthwhile."

"What do you mean?" Qian Ye hadn't quite caught on and Gu Fan had to explain further. "What I mean is that if the removal of the ancient town's curse requires you to expend a great deal of your stamina, then we should perhaps let you stay here a little longer."

"That's alright?" The hope on Qian Ye's face briefly flashed before quickly returning to its initial calm facade.
