"Absence makes the heart grow fonder," they say, especially for the newlyweds Yuan Cheng and Liu Yao who were facing a separation soon after their marriage. Yuan Cheng had stayed for more than ten days, far longer than Leng Le and Hai had expected.
However, no matter how unwilling, Yuan Cheng had to return to his home country. Even though his unique circumstances allowed him to take an extended leave, he was aware of the negative influence his absence might cast among his colleagues.
Liu Yao personally drove Yuan Cheng to the airport. Their male and female bodyguards followed in another car, a precaution insisted upon by Liu Yao so they wouldn't be disturbed.
When it was time for him to board the plane, it was evident that Liu Yao was reluctant to let him go, this wasn't the newlywed life she had envisioned. Liu Yao realized she was deeply in love with Yuan Cheng and couldn't stand being apart from him.
