Despite my original plan being to simply deliver him to the tribe, now we'll have to fight, but this can be beneficial for me if I know how to use it correctly. It may be better than my original plan; maybe I should thank Alex for it, hehehe. Thought Scar.
Returning to his previous state, Scar began to plan his strategy for the competition.
"So let's start the true purpose of this meeting. We need to choose what we will do in the first two parts of the competition, who will be our champion, and who will be chosen for the team attack!" said Scar.
"Oh, of course, I think we should send my eldest son. He is one of our best warriors, so I'm sure he will represent the tribe excellently," said the elder on the left.
"Humph, your son? My son is better than yours, so why should we choose your son over mine?" said the elder on the right.
"Enough! I will not choose either of your sons for the first match. Maybe they will go to the second, but for the first, only nominees will be chosen."
(Unlike Alex's tribe, only those who have done something to be recognized have names. Before that, they will be called by their parents.
E.g., eldest son of the elder on the left or right. That's someone's name until they are recognized for an achievement.)
"Alright, sir, but which nominees will be chosen? Among the five, only two are nearby; the others are on watch outside the tribe," said one of the elders present.
"Then send for them. They must arrive here by nightfall," said Scar.
After sending for his nominees, Scar decided to pause the meeting for now and resume when the nominees arrived.
...
"Hmm? The chief sent for us to return now? Why?" said one of the nominees.
"A competition, sir. The winner will be the chief of two tribes," said the messenger.
"Oh, that sounds interesting."
Nominee: Jack.
Recognized for brutally killing more than 30 savages, leaving several mutilated bodies during a "hunt."
An Australopithecus standing at 1.60m, considered tall for an Australopithecus, he has a large scar on his left chest.
...
"A competition for two tribes? Alright, I'll go!"
Nominee: Anibal.
Recognized for his intelligence, capable of devising advanced strategies without any help.
An Australopithecus standing at 1.40m, the standard size for an Australopithecus, with green eyes resembling emeralds.
...
"I just arrived here, and I already have to leave. If those damn savages invade, who will stop them?" said one of the nominees.
"Sorry, sir, but this is of great importance for the future of our tribe," said the messenger nervously.
"Alright, alright, fine, I'll go. But if those savages invade, it won't be my fault," said one of the nominees.
Nominee: Qin.
Recognized for defending the territory several times against savages, managing to stop more than 50 in one invasion once.
An Australopithecus standing at 1.46m, slightly tall, with some scars on his body, but none too prominent.
...
"Alright, I'll go, although I doubt I'll participate," said one of the nominees.
Nominee: Quitéria.
Recognized for being a female capable of killing more than many males, as well as being extremely intelligent, second only to Scar and Anibal. The only female nominee.
She is 1.25m tall, slightly taller than other females but still shorter than a normal male.
...
"So the chief is going to give our tribe to a stranger, is that what I'm hearing?" said one of the nominees.
"N-no, sir, the chief is going to compete with another tribe. The winner will have both tribes. Obviously, we will win and conquer the other tribe," said the messenger nervously.
"Alright, well, I'll win the first match anyway. Once the chief finishes this game, I can go back to sleep," said one of the nominees.
Nominee: Snow.
Recognized for his strength and for being an albino Australopithecus, he is very different from the others. Many fear his red eyes, but it is recognized that he is the second strongest in the tribe, second only to Scar.
