Our story begins with an ambitious young man in the year 2011, John Greyhound.

John lived an ordinary life in his middle school years until they appeared.

Demons, beasts with only a hunger for misery and despair.

Humankind was nearly brought to extinction until the angels blessed them with power.

A warrior who could master any weapon to kill the demons or a priest to bring back the dead.

These angles blessed humanity with the tools to fight back but some were better then others solely because of their Class that they received.

Someone could get a regular monster tamer class while another could get a legendary Dragon tamer class. The possibilities were endless but also completely different.

These classes are given at the age of 15 and most families celebrate this special day no matter what class they receive but John had no one to celebrate with as he was an orphan.

John sat in his dorm alone and stared at the clock eagerly waiting for his class selection.

Until finally at the stroke of midnight a golden light shined on John which had him spooked for a moment but then calmed down.

Soon after the light faded away John took a deep breath and spoke the words of any person who received their class for the first time.

"System Start."

[Welcome Hunter. You have awakened your system to help you unlock your full potential with your class. Would you like to examine your received class?]

John felt goosebumps all over his body before clicking yes but John was confused by his class that was given but yet happy too.

So much knowledge flooded Johns mind until it stopped.

John could already refine ingredients to make healing elixirs but John needed to check his status on himself and on his class.

-Gain 3x the natural resources from your killing blow in exchange for hastening its decomposition process by twice the amount-

John was at a loss for words as he had the best of both worlds as there were class differences between a combatant and a Noncombatant such as an alchemist.

But John was a warrior alchemist that had a mythical rank, the highest known rank was legendary dragon slayer Tom Sharles.

It goes without saying that the higher rank of a class you got the better you were treated but this also meant the increased attention to your life.

John knew he couldn't reveal his class ranking anytime soon and thus he needed to prepare himself by first learning his innate abilities.

Alchemy, a subject that was looked down upon by most people in the world until 3 years after the first blessed individuals until a man know as Seamor Alkaline stepped out into the light.

He had found a way to revive the dead with an eilixer but years later he vanished. But those who sought true immortality were determined to find it thus all alchemists were immediately turned from wastes in the public eye to diamonds.

Yet another read John didn't want to reveal his class ranking as people would no doubt think John would be their key to immortality.

"I need to find a way to defend myself until I'm ready… !?"

Johns phone that was in his hand started glowing before it transformed into a gun.

John was to frightened to move before a system window appeared.

John clicked and saw dozens of materials but all of them were what his phone was made of.

Lithium, Copper, Iron and some John couldn't even pronounce.

But John had a more pressing issue now, he needed a new phone but just then his phone that transformed into a gun returned to normal.

-Permanently Boosts Strength stat by 0.5 but can cause Mana Fever if used consecutively-

-1 Troll Heart per vial

-8 Liters of Blazing blood per vial

~Minor Health Eilixer~

-Permanently Improve pain tolerance and recover Health but can cause Mana Fever if used consecutively-

-18 Lizard Shaman Scales per vial

-8 liters of healing water

The surprises never stopped as the value of these recipes were astronomical, Eilixer are highly sought after by many companies or individuals who want to have their stats increased without killing demons.

But these new eilixer recipes weren't almighty as they had a significant risk, Mana Fever.

When a magic user pushes their limit too hard they can permanently damage their ability to control Mana and often never recover from the fever.

But this risk alone didn't prevent John from starting to imagine how he can sell this and keep his anonymity.

Just then Johns phone rang before opening it to see it was a news broadcast warning him of a monster outbreak.

In fact John could see the outbreak when he popped his head out of his window.

Fortunately is was only goblins that were killed in minutes by some passing by hunters and while John was observing a goblin corpse flew into the wall next to John but surprisingly it was still alive.

John looked for a weapon in the streets but then he remembered what happened to his phone before Turing it into a gun but it didn't fire a bullet.

John kept dodging the goblins bites and slashes before grabbing a steel pipe and started to imagine a long sword until he felt like someone hit him with a hammer.

Johns head was swirling from trying to activate his alchemy again.

But it was still on cooldown however John was saved as a arrow pierced the goblins head.

Unfortunately John now had a goblin corpse over him.

"You okay kid? You shouldn't try to fight monsters without a weapon."

John looked up to see the hunter with a bow holding the same arrow that killed the goblin.

"Thanks for the help but I wanted to test my skills, I got a warrior class… I think."

The man was puzzled before John ran off back into his apartment while the other hunters cleaned up the outbreak.
