Chapter 56: Fierce Battle

Raven was a powerful figure. Although his face was red, his eyes were not at all foggy, twinkling in the dark like a hawk;

"Erik, you two bastards! Damn, I knew you two drunks would be sleeping on guard..." As Raven saw the two sitting on the ground, leaning sideways, he erupted in anger;

"Cook, Ali, you two assholes better come out, or don't blame me, Raven, for not being polite!" Raven roared loudly;

As he yelled, Raven tightened his grip on the long knife and walked forward;

The surroundings were wide open, the air filled with a repugnant stench of decay. Other than the noise from the room behind him, Raven only heard the wind and the clattering sound of the wire fence.

After shouting for Cook and Ali a few more times without any response, a hint of confusion crossed Raven's eyes;

Usually, these two people would shiver awake from their slumber as soon as Raven called, ready to respond.
