It's been 4 days since our exams started and I'm growing anxious by the day.

'Counting your chickens?' Levi said, startling me out of my thoughts.

'Yep, they're 5.' I chuckled as Nurse Aime took the strap off my arm and gave me a pat there.

Levi laced my fingers with his. 'So, we good to go, Nurse?'

Aime sucked her teeth before hanging her thermometer around her neck. 'Actually. I need to speak to Charlotte.'

'If it's about H.A.S you'll have to say it to me too,' Levi kissed our entwined hands. 'We're in this together.'

Aime rolled her eyes. 'Fine. But not here. I'll text you the address.'

As we walked into the halls, Gracie screamed. 'TGIF!'

Levi glared at her. 'Dude, relax.'

Gracie blew a bubble in the gum she chewed. 'I'm too fired up to relax.'

Levi scoffs and asks Adolph. 'What's wrong with your girlfriend?'
