[Matty's POV]

What I saw scared the shit out of me. In the backseat of the car driving besides ours was a huge furry beast baring it's teeth at me. I jumped slightly when it began to bark.

Charlotte grinned. 'You're scared of dogs.'

'More like terrified.' I muttered. I'd be a huge embarrassment if I was afraid of dogs and she was not.

'Aww, poor wee baby. Our Matty is afraid of dogs. Doesn't like 'em at all.' Levi mocked me and everyone laughed including Charlotte.

'It's horrible, really. Matty has nightmares about them even. Even at home, we keep his door open so he'd run to ours when he gets the nightmare.' Dad replied too.

Just another way to embarrass me. I puff my cheeks and lean my head on the seat.

'I'm really sorry, M.' Charlotte takes my hand in hers.

'It's okay.' I give her a smile.

'Yeah. He said he's okay,' Levi glared at me while taking Charlotte's hand from mine.
