Chapter 56: Cosmic Battle At Krypton

Title: Forgive me for the late chapter

°°°

H'el had to stay completely focused, activating his microscopic vision and fine-tuning his bio-magnetic field to the molecular level to capture these traceless drones in operation.

Within the range of his bio-magnetic field, dust and drones coexisted. What was even more cunning was that some of the drones hid behind the dust, concealing themselves, ready to strike.

In his bio-magnetic field, there were at least hundreds of thousands of molecular-level drones, flying frantically, flickering with infinite particle glimmers, forming a deadly ambush around H'el.

"Who is using such a massive arsenal?" H'el wondered in astonishment. Another pulse beam shot towards his exposed skin, this time hitting his carotid artery directly.

It was a beam capable of cutting off the electrical potentials of cosmic life forms, rendering them paralyzed.

Impressive! H'el marveled at the ingenuity behind this technique. Moving at high speed, he grabbed the drone responsible for firing the pulse, which had paused for only 0.005 seconds to aim at his neck.

*Bang!*

Yet another drone grew in size in H'el's hand, and he clenched it forcefully. Debris and flames surrounded H'el, billowing his black cloak.

In the vastness of space, with nebulous dust clouds as a backdrop, H'el was encircled by fire and debris, like a towering deity descending, crushing the insignificant intruders in his grip.

The bio-magnetic field detected that the drones were coordinating for a group attack. H'el took the initiative, moving even faster than before, with actions exceeding 1000 Mach, crashing into a large cluster of molecular drones.

*Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...*

Explosions ensued as a series of drones were burst into pieces by H'el.

H'el's actions were swift, and what appeared to be casual slaps made it impossible for nearby drones to evade, swatting them like flies. Thousands upon thousands of molecular drones were annihilated.

From the large cluster of drones, over a hundred thousand reverted to their original forms at the moment of explosion, causing a colossal explosion with the power of tens of millions of tons of nuclear bombs.

Such an explosion was terrifying, even for cosmic beings. Because they were too close, some drones exploded directly on H'el's skin pores, a horrifying sight as they barely missed blasting his pores open.

The intense explosion combined with the dark smoke and dust, enveloping H'el within.

In space, the explosion dissipated exceptionally rapidly. In just a split second, H'el emerged unscathed from the flames and black smoke. He stood proudly in the void, his black cloak fluttering, his pupils cold and ruthless.

Simultaneously, on the periphery of the explosion, numerous drones grew in size, returning to their original shapes, tube-like objects about two meters long, with smooth metallic surfaces. They began spraying a horrifying purple toxic mist into the explosion area, perfectly timed to intercept H'el within the explosion.

H'el's lips curled slightly, his cheeks narrowed, and he expelled air from his stomach. He spun in the void, generating a massive cold wind from his mouth. This wind directly froze the surrounding purple toxic mist into large chunks of ice and shattered the drones releasing the mist into fragile pieces. They couldn't even withstand the explosion.

In the vacuum of space, releasing poisonous gas was clearly not an effective attack strategy.

The first pulse had been a bio-magnetic reaction beam, designed to disrupt the nervous system and render the victim unconscious and defenseless.

The second pulse was a neuro-reflex electrical potential pulse, meant to paralyze cosmic beings, making it impossible for them to control their bodies, leaving them vulnerable.

The third attack, which wasn't suitable for space release, was a toxin specifically tailored for biological entities. H'el could tell that this toxin was mixed with Kryptonian atmospheric components, designed specifically to target Kryptonian life forms.

"They want to capture me?" H'el's pupils dilated unpredictably. He paused, circulating new gases in his lungs, as he surveyed the surrounding drones and toxic fog that he had already frozen into chunks of ice.

From the attacks, he could deduce that the enemy was very interested in obtaining him. The presence of Kryptonian atmospheric elements in the toxic fog suggested that they might know the weaknesses of Kryptonians.

Moreover, from just a few waves of attacks, H'el could deduce that the enemy might have arrived here even before him, collecting vast resources from the ruins of Krypton and directly creating hundreds of thousands of drones.

"Plundering Krypton?" H'el's heart filled with anger, his face hiding the flames of wrath, and a hint of red began to glow in the depths of his pupils.

Krypton was originally his home, a place of deep emotional attachment. He had lost everything there - his loved ones, friends, and even his own father, who had tried to kill him. Returning to this place, devoid of familiar planets, friends, or even the chance for a family reunion, filled H'el with unspeakable sorrow and pain.

Now, he learned that someone had come to the ruins of Krypton to exploit its resources and had the audacity to capture its rightful owner. Even though Krypton had exploded, it didn't mean that these resources were free for the taking. They still had an owner!

H'el, filled with anger and carrying a sense of purpose, utilized his microscopic vision and bio-magnetic field to detect a particle stream approaching the battlefield. It was the molecular drones coming to support him, shimmering like a dark-blue torrent in the cosmos.

With flames of anger in his heart, H'el's cloak clung tightly to his back as he broke through the surrounding ice and charged toward the direction from which the molecular drones were arriving.

The molecular drones swiftly moved to capture H'el once again. Among the support drones were a significant number of proton-based entities that formed a massive yellow barrier, creating a vast net with gaps smaller than molecules. This colossal, yellow barrier advanced toward H'el.

Two beams of intense heat erupted from H'el's eyes, aiming at the molecular barrier. The yellow barrier collided with the heat beams, creating ripples. A batch of protons at the center overheated and lost their ability to maintain the barrier. However, an enormous proton flow swiftly replaced the damaged ones, holding the barrier together. At the point of collision between the heat beams and the barrier, a burning red light rippled out as the barrier started to absorb and disperse thermal and kinetic energy.

The heat beams were like stones thrown into water. After initially destroying some protons, they no longer had any effect on the barrier and were instead absorbed by the barrier's immense thermal and kinetic energy absorption capacity.

Of course, there was also the reason why H'el did not increase the power of his heat vision. When you could defeat a formidable enemy with just one unit of strength, there was no need to use two.

In the next moment, H'el's cloak unfurled behind him, dispersing into countless molecular-level threads, akin to having 30 million strands of molecular hair on his shoulders, raised high behind him.

H'el's heat vision continued to function, and he initiated it within the biological magnetic field constructed by his nanoscale mechanical prism, connecting to the 30 million strands of hair-like threads.

Instantly, the 30 million red dots at the back of H'el ignited in unison. This was a sight that would make anyone involuntarily imagine the sound, even though space was a medium without sound transmission.

Each heat vision beam on the hair-like threads was minuscule and microscopic. When they converged into a whole, they formed a magnificent column of light. Each individual strand was sharp, beautiful yet deadly, and truly awe-inspiring.

Each heat vision beam on these threads struck a proton responsible for maintaining the molecular barrier. They instantly disabled these protons.

The vast yellow molecular barrier, akin to a celestial canopy, was pierced by H'el's heat vision torrent, leaving a gaping hole as it burned and crumbled like paper.

Even if more protons rushed to repair it, it was futile because H'el had identified its weakness. He understood the resistance capacity of each proton individually. Instead of targeting the barrier as a whole, he efficiently absorbed thermal and kinetic energy, effortlessly piercing through it, making it difficult to close the hole.

The operator behind the drones knew that the molecular barrier couldn't stop H'el. All the drones dispersed and prepared for the next phase of their attack.

The 30 million threads behind H'el slowly extinguished as the nanomechanical structures reassembled tightly, forming his cloak, adhering to his back. H'el moved through the dispersing flow of drones with his cloak, accompanied by his nanomachines.

The nanomachines entered H'el's bloodstream and constructed a magnifying lens within his eyes. His eyes showed prominent blue veins as he activated his farsight, microscopic vision, and penetration vision. He traced the trajectories of the numerous incoming drones and looked beyond them.
