"Fourteen years ago? Why is everybody asking about what happened fourteen years ago?" Matilda Wilson grumbled.
Peter Aria's piercing gaze riveted on Matilda's face. "Who else asked you about it?"
"I don't know. Just yesterday, yesterday a group of people suddenly stormed into the hospital looking for my mother-in-law. But my mother-in-law can't even speak now. I suspect she was scared to death by them."
Matilda Wilson felt frustrated recalling the incident. Those people looked menacing. She didn't dare to call the police. They ejected her from the patient's room upon arrival. She had no idea what they discussed with her mother-in-law, though she overheard the phrase "fourteen years ago." Fearing their fierce bodyguards, she dared not pry too much into their conversation.
This group of people appeared without a trace and disappeared just as swiftly. When she returned to the patient's room, her mother-in-law was entirely mute, and she was gone by midnight.
