"What can I hide from you?" Molly Walker takes a step back, "Michael Gallagher, don't flatter yourself. We're divorced already. I don't want to be too close to you and cause unnecessary gossip."
"Gossips?" Anger suppressed within Michael Gallagher's dark pupils, "When you cuckolded me, weren't you afraid of causing gossip?"
"When you dined alone with Harry Lambert and Jeremy Norman, weren't you afraid they would cause gossip for you?" He sneers cynically, with a hint of bloodlust in his eyes, "You're not afraid of gossip, you're afraid I might interfere with your interactions with other men, aren't you?"
Molly frowns.
How was he able to know so much detail about her meals with others?
Molly suddenly realizes that whenever she dined with those people, Michael Gallagher "coincidentally" appeared. She opens her eyes wide in shock, "Michael Gallagher, have you been spying on me?"
The accidents, the coincidences.
She wouldn't believe it if it wasn't for the surveillance.
