Maria seems to be shocked by everything that I'm telling her right now.

She looks like someone who completely lost her memory. I don't blame her though. That's the power of too much whiskey.

"Making out?" she raises her head and the question almost comes out as a yell.

"Oh yes ma'am. You really are the best. I've never had someone kiss me the way you did."

I know I'm only doing this to tease her, so I try as much as can to make it sound so real.

To be fair, nothing like that happened last night.

No kissing, no making out.

She was insisting on getting over the tension by having that kiss once and for all.

When Cole called her, I thought that would make her forget about it, but no. I even had to convince her to pick that call.

Only for her to ask Cole to call her the next morning because she was busy with me.
