Buckingham Palace is a London royal residence and the administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom. Located in the City of Westminster, the palace is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality. It has been a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and mourning.

Originally known as Buckingham House, the building at the core of today's palace was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703 on a site that had been in private ownership for at least 150 years. It was acquired by King George III in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte and became known as The Queen's House. During the 19th century it was enlarged by architects John Nash and Edward Blore, who constructed three wings around a central courtyard. Buckingham Palace became the London residence of the British monarch on the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837.

The last major structural additions were made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including the East Front, which contains the well-known balcony on which the royal family traditionally appears to greet crowds. A German bomb destroyed the palace chapel during the Second World War; the Queen's Gallery was built on the site and opened to the public in 1962 to exhibit works of art from the Royal Collection.

The original early-19th-century interior designs, many of which survive, include widespread use of brightly coloured scagliola and blue and pink lapis, on the advice of Sir Charles Long. King Edward VII oversaw a partial redecoration in a Belle Époque cream and gold colour scheme. Many smaller reception rooms are furnished in the Chinese regency style with furniture and fittings brought from the Royal Pavilion at Brighton and from Carlton House. The palace has 775 rooms, and the garden is the largest private garden in London. The state rooms, used for official and state entertaining, are open to the public each year for most of August and September and on some days in winter and spring.

And is where Sovereign is currently staying at after her tour around Europe. She's personally inspecting the repairs of her shipgirls, which is still even with all the work being done to them. Will take a couple of more months to have all of them ready for another battle with the 2 remaining endbringers. Something that she brings up all the time, to stamp in the fact that delaying their repairs like the republicans did for power plays, would result in her fleet being wreck and the next endbringer not being killed because she just doesn't have enough fully battle ready shipgirls.

The reason for the inspections is that some of the shipgirls are feeling strange. Both Scharnhorst and Gneisenau have been feeling odd lately along with a number of other shipgirls. All saying that they have an odd feeling like when they were being summon the first time.

In one of the guest bedrooms -

Sovereign is still sleeping in bed with most of the child shipgirls sleeping in the room with her. The only ones missing are the Royal Navy shipgirl children, Little Bell, Formidable, Illustrious, Cheshire, and Renown, who are all with their older sisters. Leaving her to deal with the remaining kids who sleep with her. The kids provide her with protection which many people forget that while they do look and act like young children, they're still warships in human form. And it's not as awkward as it would be for her to sleep with one of the older shipgirls.

"Breakfast!" Glasgow said walking into the room pushing a food cart with the morning breakfast for Sovereign and ringing a bell. She and the other maids of the Royal Navy have been assigned around London and serve as maids to the royal family. (1)

Followed by Sheffield, Manchester, Gloucester, and Dido all pushing their own food carts with the plates of food for the children. The breakfast today is a Full English breakfast, of bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and beans. The kids hearing the morning bell to eat, got out of bed and crowded around the five carts grabbing a plate.

"Morning," Sovereign said as Dido came to the side of the bed with her cart.

"Morning princess," Dido said as she grab for the remaining plate and saw she didn't have one left. So instead she poured Sovereign some honey tea and look to her fellow maids. "Who has the last plate?"

"Not me," Sheffield said as the others all look at their carts and found nothing.

"Alright who grab another plate?" Gloucester ask looking at the kids who are spread out around the room eating their plates.

"Wait a minute," Sovereign said as she began counting the children in the room and came up with 11 instead of 10 which explains what happen to her plate. "There's 11 of them."

"Ok which of you sneak into the room last night?" Manchester ask looking to see which of the kids got into the room, again. Only to find a little girl sitting on the floor that she hasn't seen before, who looks familiar. Wearing a kimono, has long black hair and red eyes and has a bird head hairpiece on her head. Her outfit resembles a phoenix and that she's a Sakura Empire shipgirl narrows it down. "Taihou?"

"Taihou-Chan!" the child corrected with her mouth full.

"I summon another child shipgirl," Sovereign said getting up.

"I am the Sakura Empire's cutting-edge armored carrier. No bombs, torpedoes, or anything else can even scratch me. My Commander, I will systematically eliminate all who dare threaten you," Taihou-Chan said.

"Now, I have to recall Taihou so that she can look after you," Sovereign said as she likes to keep the older shipgirls close to their child counterparts.

A Day Later -

Taihou having taken a nonstop flight from Japan to England flew to the front door of the royal palace. She is let in by one of the palace staff who is with Enterprise the light cruiser not the aircraft carrier. She is escorted to where Sovereign is waiting for her, she got on the first plane to London after she got the call to come to her princess's side after a child shipgirl of her just showed up.

In one of the rooms they pass through Taihou spotted Amagi-chan on top of a table with two of the royal Pembroke Welsh Corgis barking at her. Which is a problem for many Sakura Empire shipgirls, namely dogs like the corgis who are bred to be cattle herding dogs who also chase after predators like foxes. Because of the large number of shipgirls who are Fox furriers cause lots of dogs to bark and chase the shipgirls. The only one of the girls with animal tails and ears who doesn't have problems is Naganami and that's because she's a skunk and she can spray when she wants to, covering any target in skunk spray.

"Go, shooo," Amagi shouted as she waves at the two barking corgis.

"You two go," Enterprise said scaring off the two dogs.

"Yeah," Amagi said as she leaps onto the bigger shipgirl who caught her in her arms.

"I see that you need to remember that you are still a shipgirl and those dogs can't hurt you," Taihou said and turns to

Akagi-Chan who is on another table with Akagi and Kaga with her.

"I can understand Akagi-Chan but really? You two are much bigger than those dogs," Taihou said to the two older shipgirls. "Not to mention you 3 can fly."

"Oh yeah," Kaga said as she and the other carriers sheepishly floated up and out of the room.

Taihou followed Enterprise to Sovereign's room and after knocking they enter the room where Akagi-Chan join Taihou-Chan who is with the other kids watching a tv show, while the maid shipgirl left to see to other duties. Sovereign is on the bed looking over the reports on the repair status of the shipgirls still out of action. Taihou presented herself to her princess.

"Taihou how's the trip?" Sovereign ask looking up from the papers she's been reading.

"Went well," Taihou said.

"How are things in Asia for you and the others?" Sovereign ask.

"Lots of people are fanning over us over there and we have been helping in handling any villains and crime. Lots of anime and manga companies want to use our images for works over there. And there are hentais being made of us over there," Taihou said.

"With how you are dress like so many others, I'm not surprise," Sovereign said.

"We could have official works done and give a source of income," Taihou said.

"The only source of income is from the EU military budget with all of you shipgirls being members of the arm forces and having a paycheck like any other soldier. And I'm being apart of the royal family get money from the Duchy of Cornwall and the Duchy of Lancaster thing," Sovereign said. (2)

"Mostly the same, most of the countries are doing their best to not to upset me to the point where I just leave," Sovereign said.

"The Americans who got you to leave just made house of Norton as the royal family of the United States," Taihou said as she pulled a newspaper out from between her huge breasts and showed it to her.

"As if that would get me to go back," Sovereign said before thinking of something. "Also do you really have to pull things out from your subspace pocket like that?"

"Yes," Taihou said pushing out her huge breasts. "Me and the others over in Asia do it all the time."

"Which is one of the reasons why there is so much hentai about you," Sovereign deadpanned.
