If it were the old Seraphina, she would have to wait for her intuition and perception to warn her of danger before she could react. But now, she would thoroughly think about the battle situation, analyze every move of the enemy, and with her considerable combat experience, she understood what the woman was going to do as soon as she raised her hand. 

Perhaps it was only a second, or even half a second faster than her intuitive self, but for Seraphina, it was long enough.
