The man holding those papers sighed. Though the man's satisfied smile showed no signs of boredom. 

"Things a-a-always run smoother while she's in town. So long as she doesn't touch any paperwork…" 

He itched the wool on his neck and straightened his black vest. A glance out through the side window showed the descending sun. 

"It's nearly e-e-e-evening. Let's wrap things up and find some good di-i-inner. I heard that the Plump Pig is holding another special. Perha-a-a-aps I'll go visit and taste it for myself." 

The wool-covered man tucked that stack of papers into a wooden binder and slid it under the counter. 

With the day's work easily finished, he interlocked his fingers and stretched his arms in front of him. "It's a simple job, but someone must do it… I might as well make the most of it and reward myself–"
