Time To Get Serious

Whitebeard grinned, his grip on his Naginata tightening as he increased his strength.

"So, you boys are finally getting serious?" He taunted.

"This war is a matter of Marine's honor, and I won't let you escape so easily," Aokiji said solemnly.

With each step, frost began to spread around Aokiji. The temperature plummeted dramatically, causing the surroundings to chill by several degrees. The sky responded with rolling dark clouds, and snowflakes gently descended.

Aokiji, when he's serious, has the power to alter the climate itself. As he unleashed his icy abilities, the ground froze, turning Marineford into an instant winter wonderland.

"It's cold!" Everyone shivered in the sudden cold snap.

"Admiral Aokiji is getting serious?" The Marine officers present showed hope. They were eager to witness the true power of the three Admirals and to see if they could overcome Whitebeard and turn the tide of the battle.

"Aokiji, this guy!" Sengoku, observing from a distance, was relieved. He firmly believed that once the three Admirals unleashed their full strength, Whitebeard would have no chance of escape, no matter how powerful he might be.

"Father!"

In the midst of the chaos, Ace, who had been blown away earlier, quickly rose to his feet and rushed toward Whitebeard, his face filled with excitement.

"Ace!" Whitebeard acknowledged his son with a smile.

"Father, let me help you!" Ace's fists were ablaze with fiery flames, ready to fight.

"No!" Whitebeard shook his head and raised his Naginata, focusing on the approaching Admiral. "This kind of battle is not something you can participate in."

Ace was indeed strong, at the level of a Shichibukai. But in the face of an Admiral or one of the Four Emperors, most Shichibukai were considered only slightly stronger pirates. Even with Ace joining the battle, it wouldn't make a significant difference.

"But...." Ace looked worried.

"Go meet Marco and the others!" Whitebeard interrupted Ace, his tone becoming extremely serious. "The war is reaching its end, and it's time to consider retreat, not prolong the fight."

Whitebeard remained clear-headed and didn't rush into action. He understood that the Marines had far greater strength than the Whitebeard Pirates. If the battle dragged on, the Marines' superior numbers would come into play, potentially reversing the current situation.

He needed to use this opportunity to ensure the safe withdrawal of his larger forces.

"Father…"

Ace tried to say something more, but Whitebeard didn't give him a chance. He raised his head and shouted, "Listen up, all Whitebeard Pirates crew members! I'm giving the final order for this war!"

"The war is coming to an end. All crew members… retreat now!"

Whitebeard's powerful voice echoed across Marineford. The Whitebeard crew members, who had been locked in battle with the Marines, suddenly halted their attacks and turned their attention to their captain.

"Jozu, Vista!"

"Command the crew to retreat. I'll handle the old man!" Marco declared.

With his wings shaking, Marco soared swiftly toward the island. As he looked back at the two men, one of them shouted, "I'm coming too!"

Jozu wanted to keep up, but Vista stepped in and stopped him. "Now is not the time for nonsense. To secure victory in this war, we must retreat our troops. There has to be a way for the old man to escape." Vista remained calm and determined.

"Damn it!" Jozu cursed, his composure unwavering.

"Heeehahaha~" Doflamingo burst into wild laughter. "Is this war finally coming to an end?"

"What? Are you planning to continue attacking?" Crocodile, positioned nearby, remained on high alert.

"I simply wish to observe this war, but I won't help the Marines all the time," Doflamingo sneered. He then glanced back at Whitebeard. "But if the crew retreats, how should he, as the captain, make his escape?"

"Or..."

"Is he willing to sacrifice himself to ensure the safe escape of his sons?"

Once the Whitebeard Pirates managed to escape, and the group of Vice Admirals and Marine officers were no longer occupied, with Whitebeard still on the island and considering Sengoku's personality, he would never allow Whitebeard to leave.

By then, Whitebeard would not only have to confront three Admirals, but also countless elite Marines, many Rear Admirals, Vice Admirals, Marine Hero Monkey D Garp, and The Budha Fleet Admiral Sengoku! Under the relentless siege of such a formidable force, no one could survive.

"Hm?!" Crocodile's expression changed, and he quickly turned his gaze toward Whitebeard, anxiety flickering in his eyes. "Old Whitebeard, don't you die!"

While the two conversed, Sengoku delivered a powerful punch, pushing Bullet back, and then called out to all the Marines with a loud voice: "Don't concern yourselves with those people! Now that Firefist Ace has escaped, focus on surrounding Whitebeard!"

The Marines could not afford to lose this war under any circumstances. Even if Fire Fist Ace had escaped, it didn't matter. If they managed to kill Whitebeard, the Marines would emerge as the victors in this conflict, with even greater consequences than capturing Ace.

"Yes!" All Marine officers reacted instantly. Disregarding the evacuated Whitebeard Pirates, they swiftly turned and charged toward Marineford, preparing to encircle Whitebeard.

"Father!" Marco rushed through the crowd and reached Whitebeard's side. "The crew has already begun evacuating. Let's hurry!"

"Guurarara~" Whitebeard chuckled. "That guy Sengoku won't let me leave easily."

Whitebeard realized that he had only two options to escape Marineford. One was to abandon Ace and lead the crew away. The other was to remain behind, holding off the Marines and buying time for the Whitebeard Pirate Crew to evacuate. However, his purpose in coming to Marineford was to rescue Ace, so he could only choose the second option.

"That..." Marco's face turned pale.

"Marco!" Whitebeard turned his head slightly, his towering presence enveloping Marco. "Leave with Ace and the Straw Hat kid. I'll deal with the Marines."
