[Hikigaya Komachi's POV]

I opened my eyes wide at the sound of the alarm on the nightstand beside the bed. I wanted to turn the alarm off so I could revel in the comfort of Onii-chan's embrace for some more but knew I shouldn't. We had school today, so I had to get ready. Removing Onii-chan's arms from my body, I got out of the bed and turned the alarm off. I stretched and yawned to get the sleepiness out of my system.

Onii-chan lightly opened his eyes before closing them again. No matter how hard-working he had become, he would still sleep as long as he could. It brought a smile to my face. I had initially thought that we were growing apart given his growth, but I was glad he proved me wrong. I wished he wasn't as smooth as he was, though. Coupled with his undoubtedly attractive face, I couldn't help feeling weird whenever he said something a brother shouldn't say to his sister.

Wait! Maybe, it is Komachi who is being weird. Oh, no. Have I become a brocon!? For someone like Onii-chan no less?

Everyone was less than Onii-chan, of course. My Onii-chan was peerless. I just didn't say it out loud because I didn't want to let it get to his head. He already had enough reasons to be smug with a beautiful girlfriend like Shinobu-nee. I didn't want him to become an insufferable handsome bastard. Although, if he turned out that way, I would still love him. I was the most loving sister in the world, after all.

Uwah! I just sounded like a brocon.

I shivered at my thoughts before something caught my interest. Onii-chan's pale skin was glistening under the sunlight. I knew he had been using skincare products, but it was my first taking note of how healthy his skin was. I couldn't hold myself, so I caressed his face. He trembled slightly, making my heart beat at how cute he was. Then, my eyes were attracted to his red lips. For some reason, I was having a forbidden thought about it.

Clap!

I slapped my cheeks to get my head out of the gutter.

What the hell are you thinking about, Hikigaya Komachi!? You can't lust after your brother! Not unless no one wants him. Wait, that is also a no!

I clutched my head in frustration. Onii-chan stirred in his sleep and then became fully aware of his surroundings. My body stilled when he stretched. I met his gaze when he stood up, towering over me. He looked at me with a quirked eyebrow before smiling softly, causing my heart to flutter. He patted my head and then took off his shirt. I wasn't bothered as it was not the first time, but the sight of his chiseled body still made me blush. Mom had even told me more than once that she would date Onii-chan if he wasn't her son.

Now that I think about, it; that's disgusting, Mom!

"Are you going to cook today, Komachi?" Onii-chan asked, waking me up from my thoughts.

"A-Ah, yeah," I answered lamely.

"Then, I will take a bath first."

Onii-chan opened the door and headed off to the bathroom, leaving me behind. I liked to think that I could control my expression well, but I knew I couldn't this time. If Onii-chan noticed the blush on my face, he didn't mention it. I hoped he wouldn't think weirdly of me. Despite how unbrotherly he treated me, I knew he was never serious about it. It would be bad to make him think I have a genuine romantic interest in him.

Sighing tiredly, I headed to the kitchen and prepared breakfast. Onii-chan helped me after finishing his shower and clothing himself. Thanks to him, the breakfast was ready sooner. I didn't want to make him wait for me too long, so I swiftly took a bath and clothed myself afterward. I joined him at the dining table and we had breakfast in a comfortable silence.

"Anyway, Onii-chan, when did you get your driving license?"

"A few days before I bought my car."

"When did you learn how to drive?"

"I used to come to the arcade often, didn't I? The racing game taught me a lot."

It was a ridiculous reason, but I believed my brother. No matter how lazy he was, he was a genius. He learned anything quickly—other than science and math which didn't interest him—so his answer was believable. Onii-chan could even gain enlightenment from watching a line of marching ants. It was nothing sort of surprising.

When we finished our breakfast, immediately packed up our lunch and got ready. Onii-chan grabbed his car key and headed outside while I was still wearing my shoes. When I was locking the door, the car was already turned on and Onii-chan was revving it from time to time. Fortunately, his car was fancy enough to produce a pleasing sound. Dad always grumbled about how lucky Onii-chan was for getting such a nice car.

I entered the car and Onii-chan immediately drove it. The seat was more comfortable than my bed. We always wondered what his job was but never pried too much as he didn't seem eager to talk about it. We only knew that he worked in Shinobu-nee's family company and it paid well. It was an honest job, so we didn't fuss about it. We kept pestering him about how rich he was, though.

When we arrived at my school, I thanked Onii-chan and got out of the car. Everyone was looking at Onii-chan's car in awe and curiosity. Some of them were my classmates, so I was quite embarrassed when I stepped out of the car. I wanted to get away so much that I forgot my lunch box. It was unfortunate, but I needed to get away. The attention was too much.

"Komachi!"

Onii-chan's call made me stop in my tracks. I turned around in dread and found him holding my lunch box outside the car. The girls immediately planted their eyes on him, enamored by his charm. With a sigh, I walked to him to fetch my lunch box. He teased me for my carelessness with a smile, causing me to sputter in embarrassment.

"Well, good luck with school. Don't forget to eat your lunch later."

"I won't! Geez…"

Onii-chan smirked and patted my head. He bade me farewell and then entered the car, ignoring everyone's attention. I waved him goodbye and his car soon disappeared. Quickly enough, some nosy girls approached me. They asked me a lot of things about Onii-chan, not bothering to hide their interest.

Huh…it's going to be a long day.

[Hikigaya Hachiman's POV]

As the bell signaling the start of lunch hour resounded, I stretched and leaned on my chair. I idly noted how strained the relationship of the Sagami clique was after her fiasco on the Cultural Festival Committee. She still bitched about how presumptuous I was to dismiss her. She believed I was unnecessarily mean and obnoxious. Some partly agreed with her but knew how she almost ruined the committee. Therefore, they didn't pay any attention whenever she talked about it.

"Wanna have lunch, Hachiman?"

I looked up and met Saki's inquiring gaze. "Let's go." I took my lunch box and headed to the roof with her. "How is your training?"

"It's going well," Saki answered with a grimace. "Oshino is harsh with his training, but nothing bothers me more than that tanto. It will visit my dream from time to time, commanding me to wield it better."

"That should be a normal thing, no?"

"Oshino told me that only hunters with strong connections with their weapons could achieve that."

"That's a good thing, then," I remarked congratulatory.

"Ugh, no. It's creepy, dude."

When we reached the rooftop, we took a seat and ate in silence. We would have a small talk but were more interested in our food. We had been sharing our lunch since our first lunch, so I had figured out that Saki was a good cook. I would commend the food she cooked and she would do the same to Komachi's whenever we had lunch together.

"By the way, have I told you that we have the same type of blood?"

"Huh? Your blood type is A too?"

"No, no. I am telling you that your blood is alluring for Vampires. I almost couldn't hold myself back when I sucked your blood that time."

For some reason, Saki flushed in embarrassment. She was probably embarrassed by how weak she was at that time. I respected her, so I pretended to not notice. We continued eating in silence. That silence was broken when she asked me something outrageous yet tempting.

"Do you want to have some of my blood?"

"You shouldn't prank a Vampire, you know," I warned.

In response, Saki lowered her collar, revealing her neck. I hesitated slightly before eventually deciding to have a go. I hadn't drunk blood for a week. Although I didn't need to, fresh blood was always welcome. I asked Saki to move somewhere more secluded and she followed. We couldn't risk having someone walking in on us doing the deed.

"If you want to back out, now is the time," I warned, pinning her against the wall.

"Do it," she said firmly.

"Well, don't mind me if I do,"

I bit on her neck, causing her to immediately stifle a sensual moan. She wrapped her arms around my back tightly as I drank her blood. Her body temperature rose and her blood became even tastier. I was afraid of losing my mind and accidentally killing Saki, so I pulled away when it was getting harder to control myself. When I did, I was met by her dazed look. A smile of pure bliss also decorated her face but was immediately replaced by an awkward smile.

I wanted to ask if she needed a new pair of panties but held myself as I was not Kiss-Shot. She might kill me with her tanto.
