Yu Qingyu and Wang Qiujing spent most of their afternoon testing the recipes, until they came up with dumplings they were satisfied with. They settled on making fried dumplings, with filling made of rice pudding mixed with pineapple chunks. It had very little to do with their original plan of making pineapple fried rice, but the first challenge had no restrictions, so why couldn't they get a bit creative? If they ended up not doing well, they could adjust their approach to the next task.

Their collaboration went well, and they were done before the schedule, giving them some extra time to relax. Following Wang Qiujing's idea, they went to the beach.

Most of the teams were still working on their dishes. Aside from Yu Qingyu and Wang Qiujing, only one other pair has finished, a popular cookbook author Zhang Yunhu and actress Xia Fang. Thanks to that, they had the whole beach just for themselves.
