Requiem For a Hero

Fafnir, covered in magma, raised his head and let out a haunting roar that echoed throughout the desolate land. His transformed body appeared leaner and almost skeletal.

Gradually, the whale's skin became covered in bumps, like a giant grape, and each one broke away from its body, taking the form of smaller aquatic monsters. As a result, the whale was left with a perfectly healed body.

Midgard, unable to withstand the damage she continued to receive, allowed her body to destroy itself and emerged from a thick black substance in her human form.

She fell to her knees, hands down, raising her head, looking at the monsters above them, and laughed lightly.
