“Equip!” A silver spear with four wings around the spearhead appeared after his voice rang out. It was a throwing spear that possessed holy power, allowing the user to deal severe damage to Demon-race monsters. A 7-star spear…Angel Dust.

He did not stop there. After that, he quickly activated the Rider Job’s skill—a skill that allowed him to ride on a monster.
“Rider!” He activated the skill which allowed him to ride on 5-star to 10-star summons.
After that, the wyvern flew down to Max who stood on the ground. It took him into the sky and flew around above the colosseum. His target was the girl on the ground, the girl who was about to activate another Magic Card.
“As expected of Silent Rider. Rider Job that has a summon riding skill is really cool,” Nicki said as she watched Max launching his attack.
“Lightning Lance!” Max activated his lance skill that came from his Lancer Class. It was a skill that allowed the player to attack with his lance three times in a row.
“687!” “666!” “667!”
Nicki had two monsters with low HP taking the damage, and it caused her HP to fall to less than half. She was then attacked by Drake.
“354!”
She had very little HP left, putting her in a critical situation...
“Come, come, come, come!” Nicki shouted before casting magic.
“Magic!”
A 7-star Light of Stalingrad was activated.

Light emerged from the card that Nicki used and then dispersed into spheres of light. Max’s and Nicki’s cards were sent back to their decks, and seven new cards were drawn to their hands. Max looked at his cards and smiled. The quiet one spoke quietly.
“It’s like you killed yourself, Nicki...,” he said after seeing a 7-star Wyvern King in his hand. It would boost Attack and Defense of Drake race monsters when entered the battlefield.
“Yes!” Nicki exclaimed loudly as she saw her cards. She activated one of her cards at the same time Max summoned his Wyvern King.
“Magic!” “Summon!” It was Nicki’s voice followed by Max’s. The Wyvern King roared as it appeared. It was about three times bigger than the Drake and two times bigger than the Wyvern that he rode on; it had yellow skin, a long mouth with sharp teeth, and a long pointed horn.

At the same time as the Wyvern King appeared, Nicki's card had been activated. Her low-rank monsters from the Magic Card disappeared, replacing them with a wormhole. What happened next made the audience gasp in shock.
A 9-star monster and a 10-star monster appeared beside Nicki…
One angel had eight wings on its back, wearing white armor with golden edges. The angel wielding a giant sword and shield appeared to be human but was much larger. Another was a black demon whose lips were covered with fangs; its eyes were stitched shut. The demon’s black wings spread out, hiding the sunlight away. On both of its hands was a light moving around. Thunder…the light was actually thunder.
“Oh!” Max, who was calm and collected, reeled back in alarm. He flew the wyvern away from Nicki, but before that, he had launched his ultimate move, Lightning Lance, to Nicki.
However, it was too late. The abilities of the two monsters—the eight-winged angel with a giant sword along with a giant shield and the giant demon with black wings from the dark world who wielded black thunder—were summoned by a Magic Card ‘Time of the Chosen Ones’ had been activated.

Sacrifices 50% of the user’s HP, brings all of the user’s monsters back to the deck and randomly draws Summon Cards to the hand equal to the number of monsters that are brought back to the deck. Summons the cards that have been drawn regardless of the cards’ conditions.

The card ability would bring the stone totem and the living wall back to the deck; however, the monsters were not summoned by Summon Cards, but by Magic Cards. As there were not any cards to be brought back, the two monsters simply disappeared.
After that, the system randomly picked monsters from Nicki’s deck. She had only three Summon Cards in her deck, and the three cards were sure to lead her way to victory; however, no one knew that the two monsters beside her right now were not one of her best cards…
Other cards in Nicki’s deck were Magic Cards that could be used to create monsters, Magic Cards that could be used to get the ‘Time for the Chosen Ones’ card to her hand, and a few other Equip Cards. She had only these Summon Cards, so she was guaranteed to always summon high-level monsters with the card's abilities.
No one knew how the high-level monsters were summoned until the staff informed them about what card Nicki had used…Everyone was shocked when they learned about her tactic and how the two monsters were summoned.
Gradios the Guardian Angel and Gigadestro the Lightning Devil appeared beside Nicki.
“0…!”

Max's attack failed to harm Nicki since she had a strong barrier protecting her. The barrier was Gradios the Guardian Angel’s ability.

Gigandestro attacked Max’s drake and wyvern. The lightning move was powerful enough to execute Drake into spheres of light. The demon and the angel continued to attack the wyvern and Wyvern King.

On the battlefield, the guardian angel, Gradios quickly and powerfully slashed through the wyvern’s bodies with the Sword of Dawn. The wyvern perished into spheres of light, leaving Max who was currently falling from the sky, but Wyvern King flew to take him in time.

Max attacked Gigadestro but could only deal little damage to the 10-star monster.
“Destruction of the End!” The system’s voice announced Gigadestro’s move that would be damaging to a large area. Lightning and black energy gathered between the demon’s hands. The demon compressed the energy to form a ball and send it to the monster that was flying in the sky…the Wyvern King.
“27,895!”
The combined force of lightning and darkness was extremely powerful. The Wyvern King could not dodge the attack and perished into spheres of light. Max fell from the sky as the Wyvern King disappeared. Before his body could land on the ground, the guardian angel’s sword pierced through the unarmored body.
