After leaving the temporary prison, Xiao Yiguan went to the military camp intelligence department to send a report to his Captain.

It only took him five minutes to send the report to the capital using their military device. When he walked through the hall, he saw Xie Xuanzi entering the building. The two knew each other because of a previous marriage contract between their families but they didn't have a close relationship.

As the son of a general, Xie Xuanzi mostly stayed in the capital or went out to perform dangerous missions. Xiao Yiguan never expected to see him come to this small city.

While he was lost in thought, Xie Xuanzi saw him. Since he was an acquaintance, he walked over for a greeting. Because he was of a lower rank, Xiao Yiguan saluted first, and then Xie Xuanzi returned the salute.
