After delivering the gifts, Lu Jueyu returned home and went to the kitchen. She lit a fire, and boiled a large pot of water, to fill the drinking jar. While waiting for the water to boil, she used the brazier to make milk tea.

She used fresh milk from her space, poured it into a pot, and brought it to a boil over medium heat. She put some tea leaves and boiled them until the color changed. Then she strained the tea into a kettle, added two spoonfuls of brown sugar, and stirred evenly. After the milk tea was brewed, she waited for it to cool down before closing the kettle

After the water was boiled, she put out the fire on the stove and let the water cool before leaving the house. She put milk tea, a few bamboo cups, and two kettles of water on the front basket of her bicycle and rode towards the north area.
