We shouldn't make him feel inferior.

Hae-won prepared to go out and came out of his room, only to find Woo-Bin pinned to a corner and Baek-Hyun in front of him. He couldn't see what they were doing but the little moans he heard made it clear that they were kissing.

'Seriously, what is the relationship between these two?' he thought.

He felt it would be too embarrassing to just walk up to them and interrupt them, so he decided to wait till they were done.

"Ah, Sun-bae, you're done?" Woo-Bin asked and he nodded. He looked past Woo-Bin and met eyes with Baek-Hyun but as soon as their eyes met, he looked away.

"Anyway, where do you want to eat?" He asked, trying not to recall what he just saw.

"Let's go to this new restaurant I found online. It… "

Woo-Bin kept talking with his arms around Hae-won's neck and showed him the restaurant's reviews but Hae-won felt it was such an expensive restaurant.

"Don't worry about the bill. I'll pay and if I don't, I'm sure Baek-Hyun will be more than happy to pay." He laughed.

This comment, it didn't assure Hae-won at all. Rather, it just made feel inferior compared to them. Woo-Bin might not have meant that when he was saying it but this was how it made him feel.

At the end of the day, he was just a tiny beta who couldn't even afford his own house rent.

Woo-Bin saw his sudden sad countenance and felt it was strange. Why did he suddenly become sad?

"Sun-bae?" He called and Hae-won looked up. "What's the matter?"

"Uh, it's nothing." He said and got out of his grasp. "You guys go down ahead, I think I forgot something." He turned but bumped into Baek-Hyun. "Sorry." He apologised without raising his head and ran back to the house.

Baek-Hyun watched as he ran back and turned to Woo-Bin.

"Did I say something to upset him?" Woo-Bin asked, looking concerned.

"It's not something you said intentionally." Baek-Hyun said. "You keep forgetting he's a beta, don't you?"

"I do but…" he quickly caught on to it and exclaimed softly. "Oh!"

"We shouldn't make him feel inferior." Baek-Hyun said. "I think the restaurant you chose made him feel uncomfortable."

"I'll change it right now." He took out his phone and cancelled the reservation.

Baek-Hyun watched him and gave out a sigh. This guy, he was acting so concerned about Hae-won but he sent that thing to him. Why?

"Why did you send that?" Baek-Hyun suddenly asked and he looked up from his phone.

"What?"

"That 'thing'. Why did you send it?" Baek-Hyun asked, once more.

"What 'thing'?" Woo-Bin asked, acting oblivious but he truly was oblivious.

"That dildo. Why did you send Hyung a freaking dildo?" He burst out, which surprised Woo-Bin but what surprised him more was that he said 'Hyung' and 'dildo' in the same sentence so he laughed.

"Oh my, what a strong reaction?" He laughed.

"This isn't funny." Baek-Hyun said and he nodded.

"Yeah. And I get that you guys didn't use it."

"Why would we?" He barked at him. "Anyway, why did you send it? You just made him feel uncomfortable."

"You two, aren't you guys going to develop from this stage?" Woo-Bin asked. "You like him, I know that so I wanted you guys to make some progress while I was away but there's nothing. If anything, you're more distant."

"That's for me to worry about." Baek-Hyun said and tucked his hands in his coat pocket. "Your methods are too far-fetched. You'll scare him."

"I'm hurt. I only have you guys happiness in mind, especially my Sun-bae's." Woo-Bin said with one eye closed and a sinister look.

"You just want to use this opportunity to test out your wild fantasies." Baek-Hyun said.

"My, I'd never do anything to hurt my Sun-bae but you know… " he placed a hand on Baek-Hyun's shoulder and leaned in. "It's not just my fantasies I'm trying to realise." He grinned and moved away.

Baek-Hyun threw his face aside. Woo-Bin always had a way with his words.

"Be honest, how many times did you go to my room to jerk off while thinking about your 'Hyung' in a sexy position?" Baek-Hyun's eyes widened.

"You… how did you…?"

"How did I know? Duh, it's because I have a nose! Your pheromones are all over my room. Plus, my room's the closest room to Sun-bae's so I'm sure you were fantasising about ramming your dick into his hole while hoping he'd hear your lewd moans and..."

"Enough!" Baek-Hyun shut him up with a completely red face.

"Why? Are you embarrassed that I know all your thoughts?" Woo-Bin asked with a snicker.

"Just stop it. If Hyung hears you, he'll misunderstand."

"Are you talking about me?" Hae-won asked, walking towards them.

Baek-Hyun's eyes widened and he started feeling anxious.

'Did he hear us just now?' he thought and looked at Woo-Bin who held a sinister smile.

"Sun-bae, did you get what you forgot?" Woo-Bin vigorously asked and he nodded.

"Yeah. I forgot to pick my phone from the table." He said. "Were you guys talking about me just now? My ear felt itchy for some reason."

"It must be the cold weather." Woo-Bin said, placing his hand on his shoulder. "So, I decided to change the restaurant. The last one seemed to be full so we'll go here." He showed him another restaurant which was not too pricey and not too ordinary either. But it was a relief.

"Yeah, this will work fine." Hae-won said.

Woo-Bin went ahead to enter the car and Hae-won opened the back door but Baek-Hyun stopped him, grabbing onto his hand.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked but Hae-won felt confused.

"Uh, I'm fine. Is there a reason not to be?" He responded and Baek-Hyun shook his head.

"It's nothing." He said. "Sorry of I make you uncomfortable." He added and walked to the other side of the car to enter the driver's seat but Hae-won couldn't understand what he was talking about and just stood there, lost.

"What?"

They got to the restaurant and though Hae-won felt a bit uncomfortable, he was able to adjust thanks to Woo-Bin, frequently joking about one thing or the other.

Even Baek-Hyun was actively talking and they were bringing up things that he could join in on. Their conversation was enjoyable and completely normal.

They finished eating breakfast and went grocery shopping.

Woo-Bin wore a hat and nose mask to avoid people noticing him and ruining their time. Plus, he didn't want anything that would make Hae-won uncomfortable.

"Look at this, Sun-bae." Woo-Bin called out, holding up a packet.

Hae-won and Baek-Hyun both looked up.

"I remember you liked this cereal a lot while we were in school." He said.
