Chapter Three:
After shocking his now fellow band mates he ran home to get more songs. He thought long and hard about what he should do. Should he just use one song from a bunch of albums or use the whole album.... Deciding he was thinking too much into it he decided to use some songs from the whole album but nixing other songs that he felt weren't worth it.
Kyle then brought up the system and was shocked to see his Popularity points were up by a good number. He had apparently earned over 10,000 point on just his band mates alone.
Kyle spent the next two hours going through the shop purchasing albums by linkin park as well as from other bands that he was fond of.
In the end he purchased album3 from Linkin park, 2 Shinedown and 1 from Disturbed. After that he went about writing the songs down and before he knew it 4 hours had passed. Panicking he checked his phone and saw 4 messages from Jason telling him that they would reconvene tomorrow and to bring more music to start making a album.
Kyle decided right there and then to stick with the 3 albums he bought from Linkin Park.
The Next Day Jason's House:
The band had gotten back together to record more songs that Kyle had provided, currently they were in the middle of singing Don't Stay.
Insert Music:
Sometimes I need to remember just to breathe
Sometimes I need you to stay away from me
Sometimes I'm in disbelief, I didn't know
Somehow I need you to go
Don't stay
Forget our memories
Forget our possibilities
What you were changing me into
(Just give me myself back and)
Don't stay
Forget our memories
Forget our possibilities
Take all your faithlessness with you
(Just give me myself back and)
Don't stay
Sometimes I feel like I trusted you too well
Sometimes I just feel like screaming at myself
Sometimes I'm in disbelief, I didn't know
Somehow I need to be alone
Don't stay
Forget our memories
Forget our possibilities
What you were changing me into
(Just give me myself back and)
Don't stay
Forget our memories
Forget our possibilities
Take all your faithlessness with you
(Just give me myself back and)
Don't stay
I don't need you anymore, don't want to be ignored
I don't need one more day, of you wasting me away
I don't need you anymore, I don't want to be ignored
I don't need one more day, of you wasting me away
(With no apologies)
Don't stay
Forget our memories
Forget our possibilities
What you were changing me into
(Just give me myself back and)
Don't stay
Forget our memories
Forget our possibilities
Take all your faithlessness with you
(Just give me myself back and)
Don't stay
Don't stay
Don't stay.
End Song:
"Alright guys, lets record another, any thoughts on which one?" Jason asked. "Yeah, let's do Faint that looks like a good one." Jack said with excitement in his voice. Excitement that was felt by everyone.
"Ok everyone ready?" Everyone nodded and the music started once again.
Insert Song:
I am a little bit of loneliness, a little bit of disregard
Handful of complaints but I can't help the fact
That everyone can see these scars
I am what I want you to want, what I want you to feel
But it's like no matter what I do
I can't convince you to just believe this is real
So, I let go watchin' you, turn your back
Like you always do, face away and pretend that I'm not
But I'll be here 'cause you are all that I've got
I can't feel the way I did before, don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored, time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored
I am a little bit insecure, a little unconfident
'Cause you don't understand, I do what I can
But sometimes I don't make sense
I am what you never want to say but I've never
Had a doubt, it's like no matter what I do
I can't convince you for once just to hear me out
So, I let go watchin' you, turn your back
Like you always do, face away and pretend that I'm not
But I'll be here 'cause you are all that I've got
I can't feel the way I did before, don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored, time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored
No, hear me out now, you're gonna listen to me
Like it or not, right now, hear me out now
You're gonna listen to me like it or not, right now
I can't feel the way I did before
Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored
I can't feel the way I did before, don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored, time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored
I can't feel, I won't be ignored, time won't heal
Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored.
End song:
"That was great guys! By the way Jason, don't we have that gig at the bar tonight?" Dan asked. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that...well now that we have a great singer and the band is complete as well as some kickass songs we'll be fine." Jason stated.
Kyle hearing that was a bit hesitant but ultimately decided to go for it. He was as ready as he could be, plus this would hopefully be a good way to promote their songs to a audience that would tell they're friends and then word of mouth would do the rest.
Kyle then thought of a big question.
"Guys....what should we call the band?"
That brought everyone up short. They never thought of that as they were just trying to get this started.
Kyle then spoke up. "How about End Of The Era?"
"That's a good name, plus it signals that we are the new era. Ok lets go with that everyone in agreement?" Jason asked. Everyone nodding showing they were fine with it started to get ready to head to the gig.
That Night At Smokies Bar:
Smokies was started by a couple of brothers who loved both good food and great music. So the had a bar built for just that. They were one of the more popular bars as they would always let newer bands come to play to get exposure. But this night they had a lot of people and a couple of important figures in the establishment. Two men from Aspired Music a record label that was famous for producing some of the greatest young talents across the world were here to see if they could find some diamonds in the rough.
Hughie the owner of the bar hoped they would as it would be great exposure for his bar. Well more exposure he guessed.
Looking at his watch he realized that the next band End of A Era was about to start. The lights then were dimmed and people in the bar quieted down for the next band.
Suddenly they heard what most thought was either a turntable of keyboard drums then started up.
They clapped along as Kyle started singing.

End Song:
People were shocked before they began to give a standing ovation calling for a encore. Hughie was just as shocked and looked over to the two men from the label. They were furiously typing on they're phones to probably they're bosses.
Either way Hughie knew one thing, this band was going to change the world.
