The Owl

The new guild, nestled on the outskirts of Aleria's bustling district, greeted us with an atmosphere tainted by somberness. As we entered, the lobby, though well-lit, felt unnaturally empty, and the muted conversations carried an air of uncertainty.

The change in mood within the guild was palpable, a stark difference compared to how usually thrived it is in such places in Eulith. The effects of the earthquake are more visible here, after all.

In one corner of the guild, where there was a bar that adventurers could drink, only one seat was taken by a rather slim figure, shrouded in a long, gray coat, stood there. He sipped at his beer, an aura of mystery cloaking his identity.

"Please, ask the staff what happened here during the earthquake and if we can find some lodgings," Elias and I parted from the rest of the group, moving toward the bar.

The tension in the air was thick, our steps deliberate, our expressions guarded.
