Chapter 35: My Thunder God Definitely Doesn't Have a Sister

"Thor, don't worry about being beaten by the Hulk. It's a trivial matter," Tony Stark's annoying voice resounded again. "Instead, focus on analyzing the future hinted by the question!"

"The most notable point in the question is that Asgard will face a major upheaval in the future," Thor said with a serious expression. "In the video, I told the Valkyrie that Asgard is in imminent danger. It must be a significant crisis."

"As the prince of Asgard, can you think of anything that could endanger Asgard?" Phil Coulson asked.

"I can't imagine anything," Thor pondered for a moment and shook his head. "Yes, Asgard has enemies, but those enemies are no match for my father. As long as he is alive, Asgard will never be in imminent danger."

"Thor, can you be certain about what you just said?" Tony Stark asked thoughtfully.

"I am absolutely certain," Thor said in a confident tone. "I have followed my father into battles far and wide. I know the kind of formidable warrior he is. I can confidently say that my father is among the very best in the Nine Realms! No one can bring Asgard to the brink of destruction under his watch."

"But what if your father is no longer here?" Tony Stark asked.

"What are you saying?!" Thor exclaimed.

"You said it yourself, as long as your father is alive, Asgard cannot be in imminent danger. So, if Asgard is indeed in peril, doesn't that imply that your father is no longer here?"

"If my father is no longer here..." Thor's mind was struck by a sudden realization. Intuitively, he felt that Tony Stark's words made sense.

Indeed, his father was incredibly powerful, a top-tier warrior in the Nine Realms. However, his father was getting old, and even gods were not immortal. There would come a day when they would wither away.

Could it be that his father's time was drawing near?

Recalling some recent actions and arrangements made by his father that he couldn't comprehend at the time, Thor now found them to be more understandable if he considered the possibility of his father's impending departure.

His father was preparing for the future...

"No, no, no! Father is so powerful. Even if he is aging, how could he pass away so quickly?" Thor vehemently shook his head, trying to dismiss this crazy idea.

"If Odin is so powerful that external threats cannot endanger Asgard, then there is another possibility that could bring Asgard to the brink," Phil Coulson provided another train of thought. "The reason for Asgard's imminent danger might not be external but internal."

"What do you mean?" Thor asked.

Chapter 35: My Thunder God Definitely Doesn't Have a Sister

"Take a look at the system in Asgard. Keywords like 'throne' and 'prince,' didn't they trigger any thoughts in your mind?" Phil Coulson said in his perpetually calm and composed tone. "Perhaps, in the future, Asgard will be engulfed in internal strife due to the struggle for the throne. Powerful nations collapsing from within is not an uncommon occurrence in history."

"Coulson, your inference makes more sense than Stark's," Thor instinctively rejected the idea of Odin's death. "But it's highly unlikely. My father, Odin, has two children: me and Loki. But neither of us has any interest in the throne. I would gladly see Loki take that position. So, the notion of a power struggle between Loki and me causing the internal collapse of Asgard is impossible."

"I believe you have no interest in the throne, but Loki might," Tony Stark expressed a different opinion. "In the previous round, which you missed, the future revealed in the video showed Loki leading the Chitauri in an attack on Earth, most likely for the throne! So, I think you've been deceived by Loki. He has always coveted that position!"

"Stark, have you always been this absurd?" Thor completely disagreed with Tony Stark's words. "Loki and I grew up together. We have spent our days and nights together, and no one knows him better than I do! I know exactly what kind of person he is. He has absolutely no interest in that position! Furthermore, even if Loki did have aspirations for the throne, he should target me, not attack Earth."

"Stark, this doesn't make sense," Clint Barton sided with Thor this time. "If Loki wants to become the king of Asgard, he should cause trouble in Asgard, not on Earth. What does Earth have to do with it?"

"That's something I've been trying to figure out," Tony Stark approached Thor and looked at him with a serious expression. "Thor, I know you don't believe me right now, but I must remind you that Loki is definitely eyeing that position! Asgard's imminent danger is likely due to Loki!"

"Wait, everyone, let's not make the atmosphere so serious," Clint Barton opened up another possibility. "Maybe it's not Loki."

"Barton is right, it definitely isn't Loki," Thor walked over to Clint Barton and casually put his arm around his shoulder.

"Thor, that person could be one of your other siblings," Clint Barton said.

"What are you talking about, Barton? Besides Loki, I don't have any other siblings," Thor said.

"Look, you don't know about your other sibling, yes, that kind of plot twist!" Clint Barton said.

"What are you even saying?"

"I'm talking about a secret child!" Clint Barton said. "Perhaps your father has other illegitimate children scattered out there. Unlike you, as Odin's eldest son and the rightful heir to the kingdom, they were not born into the royal lineage. They have suffered and bled on the outside, even being hunted because of it. But they refuse to accept their fate and silently gather strength. When the time comes in the future, when they become powerful enough, they will return to Asgard and seize the throne!"

"Barton, you should consider writing novels," Thor said speechlessly. "This is absurd!"

"Many kingdoms in history have had similar storylines, haven't they?" Clint Barton said. "Put yourself in their shoes and think about it. When you hold power and the entire country is yours, how many women would throw themselves at you? It's possible that one day you couldn't resist."

"That's

"Impossible! Barton, your idea is terrible."

"Is it really impossible to have a secret child?"

"It's absolutely impossible!"

"Truly impossible?"

"Truly impossible."

"Then it must be a secret sister, right?"

"Come on, Barton! I, Thor, absolutely cannot have a sister! I swear on my life!"
