Raven was forced to take Nightwing to get treatment even though it was clear she wanted to stay and ask questions but wouldn't prioritize that over Nightwing's well being. With some reluctance raven disappeared with Nightwing and huntress while Beast Boy, Starfire, Terra, and Cyborg stayed behind. I didn't move from Harley's side to look protective and even stood between them and her as they secured the criminals.

Looking through the minds of those aforementioned idiots I realized the reason they came after me. Simply put they wanted revenge as they were former Force users that were caught and had the Force taken from them. Essentially it was like a blind man gaining the gift of sight only for someone to come along and take it from them. They went from devastated to furious and wanted revenge for making the goddess take back the Force and they didn't blame her only me.

Cyborg approached me with clear intent of speaking with me directly. Even with a cannon for a hand I wasn't about to be cowed by his bravado and his intense glare. Instead I met his gaze with indifference making it clear that I wouldn't be intimidated by him or his team.

Cyborg: Why did you do...

"I did nothing Huntress prevented me from retrieving my gun then Nightwing stole it and faced the consequences of his actions"

Beast Boy: Hey Nightwing didn't steal it!

"Think, what is the literal definition of theft!?

Terra: Regardless don't you think that your reaction was extreme?

"All I did was try to warn him to drop the gun"

Cyborg: Then why was Nightwing harmed?!

"The Lawgiver cannot be used by just anyone it can only be used by the individual it is registered to, it can not even be temporarily borrowed as you saw the results of what happens when someone just randomly takes these types of things"

They were pissed but couldn't really fault the logic of what I said even if they wanted to. The reality was that Nightwing decided to take something that wasn't his in an effort to stop me from murdering those useless shits and paid dearly for it. Surprisingly Starfire seemed unsure about how to feel about this given Nightwing was hurt but coming from a warrior culture she agreed with me. This is why she remained quiet instead of just going along with the team according to her surface thoughts.

Although they wanted to continue to interrogate me they were forced to back down as the Gotham police arrived. Without the support of local heroes and needed to control their behavior to maintain their image to the public. Before I left with Harley cyborg made it clear that I would see him again. I had a pretty good idea as to why considering all the cybernetic implants that were now currently available to the general public.

There was also the issue of weaponized variants that Amanda Waller had and were likely leaked into criminal hands. It wouldn't be hard to determine where the tech came from considering how was designed. If it wasn't about weaponized implants then it was probably cyber psychos even though Cortana did her best to limit the possibility it wasn't a guaranteed as the possibility wasn't zero.

I healed Harley after speaking with the Gotham police after they confirmed that I was the wronged party. They didn't mention the Nightwing incident as it appeared that the Titans decided to keep a tight lid on the topic. The ambulance wanted to take Harley with them for observation to ensure that she was okay but Harley firmly refused. Apparently one of EMTs had a thing for Harley and was the one that insisted and she caught him checking her out instead of checking up on her.

I was given a police escort to the company with Harley holding on to me in a death grip. The whole ride she was muttering about them trying to take her back to Arkham the moment they try to separate us. When we passed the exit for Arkham she then mentioned Black Gate and didn't calm down until we were directly outside Black Technology. To be clear she wasn't scared more that she didn't want to go back when she hadn't even done anything wrong yet.
