"I'm not speaking to you," said Xander coldly making the student shiver like a leaf in the wind

Hearing this, Veronica thought about Xander's question for a little while before she eventually replied,

"He's quite prideful and he doesn't show the usual fear or caution commoners regularly have for nobles. Either he's ignorant or he's just that confident in his own talent."

As Xander heard Veronica's evaluation he just scoffed

"His confidence in his talent can't be that high, otherwise he would have just stated what talent he had outright."

Hearing this Veronica just shrugged

"Maybe it's not a combat related talent, who knows?"

Realising that there was no point in continuing this mindless speculation, Xander just snorted coldly and continued his way around the academy, his mood now soured.

He hadn't forgotten about Lucius, what happened today would be paid back in full.
