Mother and Daughter

It had not been that long since Kenji had come to a decision about his eldest child.

He had waited ten years to see how exceptional she was but he was left disappointed each time that she fell behind each of her younger siblings.

It was not like those ten years he had waited were without any difficulties especially when Kenji had to constantly apply hypnotism to everyone around him just so he could have an extra layer of protection.

Any outsiders that were spotted nearby were reported right away by those he had hypnotised and he was often the one person who had to eliminate such threats unless he had used those around them to handle the intruders.

He had been living in the same location for more than ten years and had encountered many times when outsiders infiltrated the village for various reasons.

There were many kinds of people in the world who wished to investigate what was going on where he was living and if there were those that uncovered his identity then it was likely he would be assassinated or captured for various reasons.

His abilities were considered as dangerous so there were many that wished to have his bloodline exterminated but there were others that coveted the eyes for themselves.

The Blood Dragon eyes were not under the protection of a powerful force like those that belonged to the Hyuga and Uchiha Clans.

Not many were left that possessed his bloodline and many of them were scattered around the world and in hiding like himself.

If things became too difficult for him or there was too much attention focussed towards him then it was not good and staying in one location was like increasing the chances of there being a target on his back.

He had been still for too long due to the presence of Emi and her children which were his hope for the Blood Dragon eyes surpassing the capabilities of the Byakugan and the Sharingan.

If it was not for that achieving that purpose then he would had left already and never looked back, he was still feeling that urge to leave with every passing day as his difficulties continued to pile up.

It made him impatient to see the results of his children and if his children did not show potential any time soon then he was prepared to put them at risk by taking matters into his own hands.

In his own way, it was his way of ending his child's suffering before they were exposed to the cruel outside world since they would be unequipped to be able to survive.

If he was given the choice then he would choose to abandon the dead weight rather than have it slow him down so in his opinion, it was better to solve the problem early no matter what the outcome was.

Momo had recovered from her previous injuries and had the smell of medicine on her body, she sat on her bed quietly and turned over to pick up a scroll which she had begun to study.

It was like she saw nothing else once she had begun to study and that continued for some time until the door was opened and a figure stepped into the room.

Once Momo noticed the presence in the room, she turned her head towards them and her eyes lit up with affection.

It was Emi who had entered and slowly approached her daughter as she began to spend a little mother daughter time together.

The atmosphere in the room was very warm and they had hugged together as Emi continued to read to her daughter the contents of the scroll.

Emi had been playing a similar role as an affectionate mother for ten years to each of her children so all of her children loved her very deeply.

Momo was not an exception to that but it was unknown if they were her true feelings or if it was the influence of being hypnotised by her father and being made to feel that way.

It was a perfect mother daughter moment but there seemed to be some kind of manipulation involved that had made it like that.

It was unknown if Emi would truly have love for her children and it was unknown if her true treatment towards her children would gain the same affection from them so it was all like a fake play that was being made by Kenji.

The warm atmosphere suddenly changed without warning when Emi had suddenly stopped moving and there was a chill in the air.

Momo did not notice the change at first but when she met the eyes of her mother, she had frozen in place for a moment due to how cold they looked.

There was a murderous stare that came from Emi that she had never shown before and she suddenly reached out her hands towards the throat of Momo.

Momo was pushed down onto the bed with her mother leaning over her body as she had increased her grip as her hands tightened around her neck.

The love that was there was gone and there was nothing left but murderous intent while Momo had been engulfed in fear, loss and despair.

Her emotions were running wild all of a sudden as she was struggling wildly to free herself, there were some scratches that formed on the arms of Emi who had continued to tighten her grip.

"Ugh..uh..uhh.uhh.."

"Haa..haa.guh."

The more that she struggled to breathe and was caught up in all kinds of emotions that had been brought on by her confusion and fear towards her mother's actions, there was something else that had started to change all of a sudden within her.

The intense love that she had which had been programmed into her had been turned against her to bring a great amount of stress as she suffered at her mother's hands and felt her life slipping away.

Her vision started to blur a little as she was losing consciousness but then there was a strange change in her vision that let her see something else.

It was very strange to see everything in front of her and she did not know what was happening but she acted out of instinct in order to survive.

A point of the vision had somehow shaken loose a little which caused a blocked flow to begin flowing again.

She started to pass out and the last thing that she felt was a wet and sticky feeling spread over her body and something heavy lying over her body.
