Across the entire world there were different variations of the 'Culebre' and while the stories that served as vehicles to preserve the knowledge about that cryptid also varied, they all shared a common depiction.
The Culebre was usually described as a dark snake with bright yellow eyes and a broad body. It possessed the ability to shapeshift which it used to lure people into its lair to eat them, which explained why they were able to live so long and also why sightings were so infrequent.
