"All this incredible treasures and you pick the lamest one, again!?" Nika facepalmed with such force her forehead became red.
"To each his own." Jon said, though he was clearly envious of Uriel's loot. While getting his hands on the heaviest artifact could be more valuable in terms of quantity, he couldn't deny the possible ground breaking discoveries that could be achieved by studying that book. Still, he wasn't as naive as to think that just because he was in possession of the book meant he could research it on his own and he figured Uriel would eventually ask him for help.
Jon wasn't the world's leading expert on archaeology just for show. In spite of his questionable work ethic he was, indeed, as knowledgeable and capable as his reputation indicated. He was the next in line to pick an artifact and he chose a richly decorated plate, it wasn't the biggest nor the smallest artifact, but it looked just like the sort of thing rich people would spend money on.
