After Uriel's confession the guards were left dumbstruck. Suddenly, the many precautions taken by their superiors and the warnings they received started making sense. The higher ups of the Mapple corporation placed a light infantry unit from the combat division on every gate in the off chance that Uriel showed up, they also went through great lengths to keep everything a secret from both the army and the government alike.

Just the daily expenses of keeping some of the best trained ascended watching a location was high, but four different locations seemed too extreme.
