Overwhelming power

Leo's expression shifted, his smile cruel and enigmatic, as he watched a figure step out of the shadows behind the sinister altar. A red-haired demon, with a fierce demonic lion totem at his side, emerged. His piercing eyes ignored Lara completely and remained fixed on Leo, his gaze filled with a strange mixture of curiosity and recognition.

The demon spoke, his voice dripping with an unsettling confidence, "I thought I sensed something familiar when we crossed paths a few days ago, but I couldn't be certain. Leo, wasn't it?"

Before Leo could respond, a deafening bang echoed through the chapel, and the very world around them seemed to twist and turn once more. A section of the ground where Lara stood began to move, and a wall slowly erected itself between her and Leo. She looked on in surprise, realizing that this world was actively trying to separate them.
