After controlling her emotions and deciding it was the right time to return to the black skull palace so she wouldn't break down again, Elliana walked back to the palace, her gaze meeting with Mr. Marino as soon as she entered.

She smiled, but he walked to her before picking her in his arms as he hugged her tight.

"Where did you go without informing anyone?" Sebastian whispered in her ears, tightening his hands around her body, and Elliana bit her bottom lip to keep her feelings from escaping her hold.

He was acting like this just because she left for some time. What will he do when she is gone forever? Elliana wondered before she pulled away slightly and looked into his eyes.

She cupped his cheeks before rising on her tiptoes and kissing the corner of his mouth affectionately.

"Your sister is expecting a child," She said to change the topic for both of them.

She smiled when she noticed the mixture of emotions in his eyes.
