Warding Off Evil

On the third night of the vacation, Tuss took Yuri back to the manor, not to their regular residence, but to a different building.

Looking at the large, column-like structure in front of her, Yuri widened her eyes and asked, "When did this get build up?"

"A month ago," Tuss replied. "It was fully completed five days ago."

Surprised, Yuri asked, "Why didn't I notice?"

Tuss said helplessly, "You were always sleeping when we got back, of course, you wouldn't notice."

Yuri pondered. Indeed, for some time now, she had been falling asleep on the way back, and leaving asleep too. She hadn't paid much attention to the changes at the mansion.

Tuss put his arm around Yuri's shoulder, feeling a bit anxious and also excited. "Let's go in and see if you like it."

Yuri raised an eyebrow. Could it be prepared for her?
