Amy's Missing Hammer

-- THE NEXT DAY --

SONIC'S POV

I was sleeping peacefully in my shack until someone woke me up and ruined my sweet dreams.

"Sonic! Sonic, wake up! Please!!" I heard.

Then I quickly woke up and looked here and there, "Yes, yes, I am awake."

Then, I saw Amy standing beside me. "Oh! Amy, its you. I wa-"

Amy cut me off and said, "Sonic!! You need to help me!!"

I nodded, "Ok, I will help you just give me a sec." I got off the hammock and stretched a little, then quickly brushed my teeth, washed my face and dried my face with a towel and stood infront of Amy.

"So, how can I help?" I asked.

"Sonic, I had told you that something was missing!! And I know now, what is missing!!" said Amy in a panicked way.

"What is missing?" I asked while scratching my head.

"My hammer. My hammer, Sonic. Its missing. During our camp, Eggman's robot had thrown my hammer far away. I just remembered it now!!!" replied Amy.

My eyes widened. "Really? You have lost your hammer?!" I asked.

She nodded slowly, "Please...help me find it." I nodded.

"I will surely help you. But first lets call others too." I said and she nodded.

Then I called Tails, Knuckles, Sticks and Sonica and said to meet at my shack.

And just then, Sonica appeared right behind us and said "Hey."

I and Amy were frightened a little.

"Don't scare me like that!" said Amy.

"Ok, I won't." replied Sonica.

"Ok guys, come a soon as possible." I said and then cut the call.

"So, why did you call us this early?" asked Sonica.

- Time skip -

Tails, Knuckles and Sticks arrived at my shack. And as my shack has no door, they directly came inside.

"Hi, Sonic, Amy and Sonica." said Tails.

"Hi, everyone!" I and Amy said in unison.

But Sonica seemed kinda nervous. I wonder what happened..

"So, Sonic why did you call us this early?" asked Sticks.

I sighed and started explaining everything.

-- After 12 minutes of explanation --

"Oooohh! Now I get it." said Knuckles.

I nodded and said, "Now, lets go and search for the missing hammer!"

Everyone else nodded. Then we headed to the place where we had camped before.

As usual, on the way, we talked and....talked. But Sonica seemed quite. I still remember, she said that she will try to show her emotions but she didn't show any emotions till now.

Then, I went closer to Sonica and whispered, "Is something wrong? Your face looks so emotionless."

She nodded slowly and whispered back, "I want to show my emotions. But I don't know what will be the consequences.."

I scratched my head and whispered again, "Consequences??"

Her eyes widened for a sec and then she whispered hesitatingly, "I-I mean, will it be okay if I suddenly start showing my emotions. Won't Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Sticks find it strange?"

I shook my head, "Nah! Everything will be fine. Just open up and don't worry about your feelings." I whispered back.

She nodded slowly.

I smiled.

And just then, Amy said, "We are here! This is the place where Eggman's bot threw my hammer."

I nodded, "Ok, everyone! Start searching!" I looked around here and there.

Amy became a little anxious and searched here and there. Tails and Knuckles checked in the bushes. Sticks...searched...on the...trees. And Sonica was staring at a tree...?

"I can't find it!!!" said Amy.

"Neither can we!" said Knuckles and Tails in unison with leaves on their heads.

And just then Sticks fell off a tree and said, "No hammer up there."

SONICA'S POV

While everyone else was searching for the hammer, I just stared at a tree. It reminded me of Key. Today, I didn't spent much time with Key...

And no one was able to find the hammer.

"Where could it be?" asked Amy.

"I don't even think its lost. Maybe you kept it somewhere and forgot it." said Sonic.

"No, I am telling you. The robot had thrown my hammer away!!!" replied Amy.

I sighed. And just then my ears started twitching. I heard something or someone move behind the trees.

"Sshh!!" I shushed them down.

There was silence among us until Amy whispered, "What is it?"

Then, I heard that same sound again. Something or someone behind the trees. My ears twitched again.

"But I don't hear anything?" said Sonic.

"Sshh!" I said.

He bit his bottom lip.

Then, I closed my eyes and quickly turned around. Then, I heard someone's footsteps running away. I saw a shadowy figure run away.

"Someone was watching us. Follow me." I said and started chasing.

I ran faster, getting closer to the shadowy figure. Amy, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Sticks followed me. I increased my speed a bit and was now finally close enough to see that the shadowy figure was actually a tribe member, wearing mask, leaves on his head.

"Got you!" I was about to catch him but it suddenly climbed on a tree.

I growled and climbed on, following him. Then, he swung from one branch to another.

I growled again and then looked here and there in hope that no one is around. Thankfully, no one was around me. Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Tails and Sticks were way behind. I guess they couldn't catch up with me but never mind.

Now that I am alone I can use my powers.

Then, I also swung from one branch to another following him. He hadn't gone too far. Then, he jumped off the tree and started running on the ground again. I also came down. Then, I used my powers and bent the trees a little to block his way.

"Now, I got you." I said, my hands still glowing green.

He tried to run again but there was no way.

Then, I used my powers again and wrapped him with a vine. I held some part of vine so that he couldn't run anywhere. He fell down on his knees.

"Now, you can't run away." I said as I was about to uncover his mask but just then I heard Sonic from behind saying, "Sonica! There you are. You ran away too fast. We had lost the way."

Then, I quickly made the bent trees straight as normal. I hope he didn't see it. Now, Amy, Knuckles, Tails and Sticks were also here. I turned towards them still holding the vine in my hand.

"Who's he?" asked Sonic.

"I think its-" Knuckles eyes widened and he shut his mouth.

Everyone else's eyes were also widened. I became a little confused. Everyone was standing still, without making a sound.

"What?" I asked.

Then, Sonica whispered, "Sonica...look behind you.."

I turned around and saw more tribe people holding sharp spears. One of them was pointing the spear right infront of my eyes. Then, he cut the vine and released his tribe member.

"Should we fight with them or what?" asked Sonic.

"No need. Just don't do anything." I said in a monotone voice

[A/N: Sonica will be speaking in monotone voice only. Please keep it in mind.]

Sonic looked at me, "But-"

I cut off Sonic and said, "We can't fight with them right now. There are many of them with sharp spears. Any of us can get hurt. Especially, Amy and Tails." I replied.

"Hey! We can fight too!" said Amy and Tails.

"I know but Amy doesn't have her hammer and Tails is still a kid." I replied.

"You can't call my friend a kid! He's-" Sonic got cut off by the tribe people when they pointed their spears at him.

"Just don't do anything." I said again.

Then, the tribe people tied our hands with ropes and pointed the spears behind us, making us go with them.

I could have easily fought against these tribe people. But the problem is others might get hurt. I wonder where are they taking us...

- Time skip -

We were now at a village of tribe people. Our hands still tied. Then, they led us in house which was kinda big from other houses in the village. Inside the house, there was a throne and someone was sitting on it. It looked like he was the tribe leader and to my surprise, he had Amy's Hammer.

"My hammer!!!" said Amy. "Give me my Hammer back!" She tried to untie herself but couldn't.

"Tahw si siht gohegdeh ginyas??" said the tribe leader.

And Amy, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and Sticks were like, "WHAT??"

Then one of them said, "Ew t'nod dantsrednu reiht egaugnal oot, redael."

I guess these tribe people don't understand our language.

There was silence in the room until I spoke, "Ehs si ginyas ot evig reh remmah kcab!"

Yes, dear readers, I understand their language.

Then, the tribe leader narrowed his eyes at us.

"Wait! Sonica! You can understand their language?!" asked Sonic.

I nodded.

"But we can't understand anything!!" said Amy.

"That won't be a problem. I will translate it to you. The one sitting right there is their leader. I just asked him to give your hammer back." I replied.

[A/n: Umm....Readers, you can skip the sentences said by the tribe people. Actually, I just wrote the words in reverse spelling which looked like a different language...]

"So..what did he say?" asked Amy.

"I am waiting for his reply." I said.

She nodded.

"Siht si ton ruoy remmah! Ti saw a tfig tnes yb GOD!! Ti llef morf eht yks. GOD, evag ti ot su!" said the tribe leader.

"What did he say?" asked everyone else.

I looked at them and said, "He said that this is not your hammer. It was a gift of god. It fell from the sky. God gave it to them."

Then everyone burst out laughing,"It what?!"

The leader got angry and stood up from his throne and shouted, "YHW REA YEHT GINHGUAL???"

I tried to shush them, "Ssh! Stop laughing. You are making him angry!"

But they weren't listening to me. I looked at the leader, he was raging in anger.

Then, I quickly bowed down a little and said, "I ezigolopa no eht ebflah fo meht."

I gave my so called friends a death glare. They gulped and stopped laughing. Then, the tribe leader calmed down and sat on the throne again.

Then, I also stood up straight and said, "Ew tsuj tnaw eht remmah kcab."

Tails was about to ask for the translation but I cut him off and said, "We just want the hammer back."

And everyone was like, "Ooooh!"

I sighed.

Then, the tribe leader smirked and said, "Fi ouy yllaer tnaw eht remmah neht ouy lliw evah ot taefed su ni eerht sgniht."

I translated, "If we really want that hammer then we will have to defeat them in three things."

"Yes, we accept the challenge! I mean whatever it is..." said Sonic.

"Ew rea ydaer. Tahw rea eht eerht sgniht?" I asked.

"Ereht si a noitidnoc.." He said.

I looked at Sonic and translated, "There is a condition."

Sonic nodded. The leader snapped his fingers and then, the other tribe members untied me and Sonic.

"Hey! Untie us too!" said Amy.

I looked at the leader, he was just smirking.

"Ylno eht owt fo ouy lliw eb gintepmoc." He said.

I looked at Sonic and said, "Only the two of us will be competing."

Then, the leader snapped his fingers again and then the other tribe members pointed their spears at Knuckles, Amy, Tails and Sticks, leading them outside to a prison or something.

"Sonic! Please get my hammer back! I am trusting you! Sonic!!!" shouted Amy before going out.

Sonic just nodded.

After they were gone, we looked at the tribe leader.

"So, what are the three things?" asked Sonic.

"Os, tahw rea eht eerht sgniht?" I asked looking at the leader.

"Eht eerht sgniht era. . . "
