Sabrina was saddened. She desperately wanted a child but had never considered the sacrifices involved.
As her stomach grew, she assumed that a few weeks or months after the twins were born, she would return to normal.
However, after seeing her stretch marks in the shower, she began to wonder if there was more in store for her.
"Because I won't be attractive to you anymore," she said to Robin, caressing her bump. He didn't notice the roughness until she drew his attention to it.
"Don't you see it? Can you feel the roughness?" Sabrina shed more tears. Robin frowned and asked, "You mean the stretch marks?" He felt it was absurd for her to worry about something as trivial as a stretch mark.
Sabrina nodded, and Robin, slightly disappointed but prepared, as he had read a lot about the stages of pregnancy, encouraged her.
