War in the Forest of Argentina Part: 3

As the fierce battle prolonged, Axel stood his ground, Confronting Dalius who surrounded him with his levitating swords.

Axel pondered in confusion, Wondering what just had happened after a skill status message appeared infront of his eyes.

His body instantly reacted on its own, While his mind got completely cleansed and his doubts, worries and fear were instantly removed.

What does that assimilation process mean?" He wondered.

"Kekeke, I never thought you'd be able to hurt me." Dalius uttered, Wiping off the blood from his cheek.

"Young one!" Erza yelled loudly, Causing both of Axel and Dalius to glance at her direction.

Erza kept fighting several Undead and Draconian Knights in different combat methods, Her proficiency in weapons were displayed, Whilst her control over her Threads were also outstandingly shown.

But the fact that opponents kept pouncing at her, Made her unable to go closer towards Axel's location.

Several swords coated in mana instantly rushed towards Axel, While he instantly countered with his Chained blades. But was unable to deflect them, And still kept on charging towards Axel's direction.

Axel immediately used Mana armament, Exuding a blueish aura, And instantly released a barrage of strings that came out from his body.

The strings that were covered in Mana armament was able to counter-block the incoming swords, While Dalius instantly grabbed a levitating sword and rushed forward towards Axel with a malicious smile on his face.

Axel continuously shot sharpened strings that were coated in his mana armament, While throwing his Chained blades at the same time.

Dalius swung his sword, Continuously deflecting the Strings and Chained blades that came towards him.

He once again grabbed another levitating sword, And held it tightly as he performed dual swordsmanship stances whilst vigorously counter attacking Axel's continuous attacks.

As he got closer towards Axel, Axel immediately formed two katanas and performed a stance, Waiting for Dalius to come inside his attack radius.

"Kehahaha! I'll cut you in several pieces human child!" Dalius bluntly yelled in mockery, Twirling his swords whilst rushing towards Axel.

Meanwhile Axel immediately released several hardened strings from his ankles, And burrowed through the ground.

While Dalius instantly swung his Swords vertically downwards and was blocked by Axel, But Axel felt as if his arms were about to break after receiving such powerful attack.

Ugh... Why does his attack feel so heavy!? I can't continuously block all of his attacks or my arms would break apart." Axel pondered in anguish after blocking all of Dalius' continuos attacks.

"Keke! Now die!" Dalius uttered, Whilst doing a vertical feint slash and immediately swung it horizontally.

Axel who could not bear to block his attacks any longer instantly ducked and jumped backwards, Evading Dalius' sword.

And after Dalius missed, He immediately tried to engage towards Axel, Without realizing his feet was totally tied by Axel's hardened strings that popped out from the ground.

"Huh? What is this?" He murmured to himself, Unable to move.

As he raised his head again, He noticed chained blades coming towards him. He then attacked it, Completely deflecting Axel's chained blades.

Dalius then looked infront of him, Only to notice that Axel had disappeared from his sight.

While Axel formed a spear and performed a throwing stance as he floated in mid air, Aiming towards Dalius.

"Take this!" He yelled, Throwing the spear towards Dalius with extreme force.

Dalius immediately cut off the strings that were tied on his feet, And instantly jumped back, Completely evading the spear that Axel had thrown.

Whilst axel fell towards the ground, He released a barrage of sharpened strings, Aimed directly towards Dalius who just evaded his spear without giving him any time to rest.

Dalius immediately ran sideways, Evading Axel's strings while Counter attacking with his levitating swords that were aimed directly at Axel.

The two vigorously fought without giving each other some time to rest, Continuously attacking with extreme force that exuded sparks in each time their attacks collided.

Meanwhile Mayu noticed their intense battle and was still occupied by the Draconian Knights who got inside her Ice barricade, She then manipulated and released several Ice spikes from the ground whilst raising her hands and was sweating profusely.

Her mana level was quite low, And her Skill was severely draining her mana after continuously using it.

Why do they just keep on coming...!" Mayu pondered to herself. If this keeps up, I'll run out of mana... Ugh..."

Bouts of searing pain started occuring towards her chest, Whilst she forced herself on fighting against the Draconian Knights.

"Raging Swordsmanship, Fourth form, Berserker's Fury Slash!" As a Draconian Knight yelled intensely behind Mayu whilst rushing towards her, Ready to slash her body into half.

Mayu completely noticed late, And was about to leap and evade his attack, But her chest tightened and thumped with an immense unbearable pain that made her stumble unto the ground.

My body won't be able to manifest my skill, My mana's completely depleted. I'll die if I get struck with his attack." Mayu thought deeply while holding her chest.

As soon as the Draconian Knight was about to swing his sword, Several threads appeared in an instant that took out his hands along with his sword.

"Huh?" The Draconian knight mumbled, Only to witness blood gushing from his cut off hands.

As he was about to scream in pain, Several more threads pierced through his entire body, Killing the Draconian knight instantly.

His body slowly fell unto the ground while blood streamed on the floor, Infront of Mayu who wore a surprised expression.

Mayu sat in anguish, Holding her chest tightly while bouts of pain occured through her Mana core.

Erza appeared infront of her, As her crimson red eyes shined brightly, With her dignified posture, Exuding an aura of a great fighter.

Mayu stared intently at Erza and slowly fell unto the ground, Unconscious.

Erza then created a barrier of Sharpened threads all over the top of Mayu's Ice barricade.

While noticing that Axel and Dalius were still fighting fiercely, As their eyes glowed with seriousness.

Dalius who mocked Axel had now became serious, After seeing Axel's state becoming more ferocious.

I can't underestimate him... He somehow completely changed..." Dalius mumbled through his head.

Axel knew that something was strange, His state of mind had become more stable, The fear and worries he felt completely vanished. And was now able to fight Dalius comfortably without being scared.

"How is that you've suddenly change...? Human child." Dalius asked, Showing hints of curiosity.

Axel who could not understand just stood and performed a stance while staring intently at Dalius.

Before they could once again engage against each other, A spear was thrown infront of them.

They both immediately took a glance from the side, Only to see Erza standing.

"Young one, Leave this guy to me and bring that wolf girl to a safe place." She said whilst pointing towards the unconscious mayu.

Without letting Axel reply, Dalius instantly rushed towards him. Swinging his arms and threw two swords towards Axel.

Before it got closer towards Axel, His swords stopped mid air, Only to be tied by Erza's threads.

"Now young one." Erza yelled and flung her arms, Releasing a barrage of threads towards Dalius who kept evading her attacks.

Axel nodded and immediately ran towards Mayu, He then carried her and surveyed the surroundings, Standing from a higher ground of the Ice Barricade.

He witnessed an intense battle between the Monster people and the Draconian Knights, While searching for an Escape route.

The monster people finally got closer towards their location and distracted the Draconian Knights from getting inside the Ice barricade.

"Erza! Where should I go!?" Axel yelled, Desperately looking for a safe route.

"Head up north! The monster people escaped through there." Erza responded whilst fighting Dalius.

"Be sure to follow us." Axel uttered and immediately jumped out from the Ice Barricade.

Erza felt reassured after hearing Axel's words.

"Now Draconian, Show me what you've got." She uttered in a serious tone, While releasing several threads from her palm that were coated in mana.

Her body glowed and exuded a blueish aura made from the Mana Armament.

While Dalius felt the chills, That fighting the wolf girl infront of her would surely be hard.

"Hehe, I can't back down now... I'll torment you in any way possible you filthy wolf girl." Dalius spoke with complete confidence that he would surely win.

Meanwhile, Demise noticed Axel from afar, Running towards the northern side of the battlefield, Carrying Mayu.

"Gileyn! Barto! Bring that Child to me!" Demise yelled loudly that it echoed through the battlefield.

Almasin and the Elders stopped, As they took a glance at Axel who was carrying Mayu, Trying to escape the battlefield.

"Everyone! Protect the Human Child!" Elder Chiban yelled desperately, Ordering the monster people to fend off the Draconian Knights that pursued Axel.
