Heidi's Anger

"Wait a minute, Elijah!"

When Heidi saw Elijah about to leave, the girl immediately ignored everything to hold Elijah's hand. The girl pretended not to see the cold gaze Elijah gave her, then spoke in a tone of genuine worry.

"The distance between the academy and this place is very far. Even if you want to leave, please let us prepare a carriage that you can use to return to Arlo City, Elijah."

"I don't think that's necessary," Elijah replied firmly. Again, Elijah let go of Heidi's hand that was trying to hold his. Heidi did not want to hurt Elijah's hand. Therefore, her grip was not so tight that Elijah could easily release it with just a little force.

"I'll come back on my own," Elijah said before leaving without anyone knowing for sure where he was going.
