100. Endgame Plan

Lestrange Investment Bank, the parent company of Happy Farms, Happy Food Bank, Happy Constructions, and plenty of more subsidiaries, invested in the muggle world's biggest companies. With so much money, companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Dell, and Apple received a lot of investment, and in turn, Happy became a bigger shareholder.

Moreover, two amazing companies started that year in 1994, and Happy was adamant about eating up the biggest share of the pie. The companies were Yahoo and Amazon.

Additionally, companies such as Disney, McDonald's, Walmart, Nike, Starbucks, and many more received funding for their business expansions, raised through stock selling. Happy's bank became the go-to choice for most aspiring businesses to get funding, and they did get it as long as Happy agreed on the call.

Meanwhile, the company's food products, with the logo of a goose with a straw hat, spread around the world. From rich nations to impoverished ones, food security became less of a challenge due to the new player in the market.

The company slowly spread its web all around the world, entering into industries that they deemed suitable for their model. It wasn't easy, but with competent people at the helm, it was doable.

Gradually, Happy Lestrange started to seem like a terrifying existence that not only the muggles feared to mess with, but also the wizarding world had to respect—far more than any other esteemed wizard, far more than any Dark Lord.

The purebloods families had already trapped themselves in Happy's clutches, by giving him their money for investment—for which they did receive great returns. Voldemort was secondary now. What truly mattered was gold; that's it.

Hogwarts,

"How did he know about the task? He even sent me the fastest broom." Harry wondered while sitting in the tent just before the first task was to happen.

Bam!

Hermione whacked him on the head. "Stop thinking about him and get serious about the dragon. You have to remain focused, and remember the summoning charm—we practiced it plenty enough."

Harry nodded, muttering to himself. "I know… With the new broom, I think it'll be much easier."

"Good luck." She patted his shoulder and left quietly. Ron wasn't there, sadly, since the boy was being a jealous little girl at the moment. Luckily for him, Happy wasn't there, otherwise, Ron wouldn't have found a place to hide after getting a verbal beatdown from him.

"Now! Our fourth and final contestant!" Dumbledore's voice could be heard outside.

Harry went out and cleverly looked around himself first, to find where the dragon was. Once he saw the golden egg in the distance, he wasted no time and waved his wand.

WOOSH!

At a blazing speed, a broom came flying and stopped in front of Harry. It was so fast that even Harry felt his reaction was slow.

After that, he got on the broom and zoomed toward the egg. The dragon that was sitting on the cliff above the entrance couldn't even react that fast enough.

Shwooo!

Five seconds was all it took, and Harry Potter was gone from the arena. The golden egg was in his hands, and the crowds above erupted in wild cheers. This was the fastest end to the task—and there was no doubt about who was going to receive the most points.

'How was this broom made? If I hadn't reacted in time, I would have crashed into the wall.' Harry felt amazed at the amazing tool that surpassed the human ability to control.

With that, the first task came to an end, with Viktor and Fleur tying for third place. By and large, it was Hogwarts' victory.

The golden eggs were in the champions' hands, and now was the time for celebration and to unravel the clue it held for the next task.

Wales, United Kingdom.

"Returning so soon?"

"Soon? I've been here for almost a month, Mrs. Scamander." Happy muttered as he tied his shoes, ready to leave. "I need to visit Grandma in the U.S. at least once before I return to school."

Having lived with the Scamanders and played with the beasts for a month, Happy had become a very close friend of the family. He met other members of the Scamander family as well over time, from their kids to grandkids.

"Please make sure you come to the school on the days I asked you to." Happy requested, having discussed the topic in detail before already.

"Wait a minute." Newt Scamander stopped Happy at the gate. "T-This entire month, I've seen you deal with beasts of all sizes—friendliest and the most dangerous. Yet, you were able to befriend them all. Happy, I think you've earned this."

Newt extended a brand new-looking briefcase, revealing a toothy smile. Happy also knew well what the thing was at one glance. It was a briefcase similar to Newt's, with amazing expansion charms and habitats inside it. A magnificent artifact that couldn't be found anywhere else.

"Are you sure?" Happy was delighted as always.

"Of course." Newt confidently said. "Other than you, I haven't seen anyone else deal with beasts so kindly. Most get impatient and end up hurting or shouting at them. But you seem to have a strange instant bond."

Happy chuckled and looked at his friendly mischievous goose. "Well, I had a lot of help."

"Of course, how could I forget Koko," Newt said and took out something else. "That's why I made this small backpack for him with an expansion charm. Now, he can always keep his treats with him."

"Woof!" Koko thanked Newt and allowed the man to place the backpack on his back. It was made of leather and was light. Its color blended well with the straw hat, making the goose look extremely adorable.

"Ah… my heart, so cute." Mrs. Scamander fawned over the little guy.

Chuckling, Happy bid his farewell and left the house. "Bye-bye… I'll see you at school later."

Woosh!

With that, Happy made a portal and vanished into it. Left behind, the Scamanders sighed.

"He's overworking himself." Mrs. Scamander muttered.

"But he's doing it so there can be years of peace and tranquility for him. Let's go and prepare for the eventful day." Newt suggested and shut the door.

United States of America, MACUSA office

"I'm telling you that I'm Granda Elaine's grandson. Why won't you let me in?"

"You need an appointment to see her. We've had plenty of men and women coming here claiming to be someone's family member." The indifferent receptionist on the ground floor of the MACUSA building stopped him from going in.

Happy dumbfoundedly stared at her. "Come on, can't you see? I'm Happy Lestrange… half the wizarding world knows my name… You're not even looking at me."

"Happy Lestrange is a handsome man, not a kid. The papers always say he's the most desirable man."

'Ugh… Rita's propaganda is going too far.' Happy cursed under his breath.

"Whatever, I'm going. Stop me if you can." Happy ignored the receptionist and walked over to the elevators.

"You can't cross the barrie—"

But Happy did and pressed the elevator button. "Heh—Seems I really am her grandson."

With that, Happy went to the top floor and arrived outside the President's office. The assistant there recognized Happy and quickly allowed him into the President's office.

"Grandma!" Happy chirped.

Bam!

Elaine abruptly stood up from her seat. "Now you remember me? After running around the world. I've received so many letters of complaints about you."

"And?" He looked at her with puppy eyes despite having grown decently big.

She scoffed. "They were quite useful for the fireplace. Come on, I'll get you your favorite food, or… What do you want to eat today?"

As always, she made him sit beside her big seat and asked their local branches in various nations to send food. When Happy ate, she continued to do her work, shocking anyone who entered her office. Heck, even the oldies who came felt jealous of Happy, for getting such special treatment.

Then, after eating some good old steak and mashed potato, Happy ate some mouth freshener candies and got down to business. He didn't want to talk about work straight away with her, as it would send the wrong message. So he waited for the right time.

"Grandma, can you come to Hogwarts on June twenty-fourth next year?" Happy asked her. "I have something to do there, and moreover, I'm going to need your support with a case regarding the Ministry of Magic. If everything goes well, I'll be able to end Voldemort once and for all."

She quickly closed all her work files and touched Happy's forehead. "Are you sure? You're just fourteen."

'Nearly eighteen mentally.' Happy thought.

"Grandma, I've prepared for everything. I am going to tell you a huge secret, but can I trust you to keep it? Not even Dumbledore should know about it… or anyone, no matter how much you trust them." Happy resolutely looked into her eyes and asked.

Elaine properly sat in her chair and waved her hand. Instantly, all the windows in her big office slammed shut. "You can trust me, dear. I'll do everything in my power to help you."

Happy knew that very well. "My plan is to defeat Voldemort with overwhelming power. But there's a reason why he's probably the toughest being to kill. You see, he used an ancient secret magic to make…"
