Chapter 47: Mirror of Double Standards

Adrian POV:

Secluded corner, battered body, only one source of support and security.

It was safe to say that Daisy was dependent on me at the moment, who had saved her from the clutches of death two times.

Who almost 'lost' his life to protect her. 

Who still held her tightly in his arms and looked at her tenderly, as if she were his most prized possession.

Feeling such care in her most vulnerable moments, even a girl like Daisy couldn't hold herself back anymore.

Her eyes got cloudy when she looked at me, and taking advantage of it, I tightened my grip on her and lowered my head.

In response, lost in the heat of the moment with a hazy mind, Daisy reciprocated my advances.

She closed her eyes, giving me a silent consent.

Gently, our lips met.

My mouth felt the gentle touch of her lips, and a metallic taste of blood mixed with saliva entered my mouth.

We intertwine our tongues and drink each other's saliva.
